Guodu park is located in Chang'an District of Xi'an city. It is transformed from the original site of Guodu forest park. The planning area of the project is about 100000 square meters.

Guodu park is located between Xifeng road and Guodu South Street in Chang'an District of Xi'an city. It starts from the intersection of the two roads in the South and ends at Jianye No.2 road in the north. The original site of Guodu Forest Park is afforested to improve the supporting facilities, optimize the landscape effect and enrich the entertainment function.

Guo Du is one of the eight commercial towns in Xi'an during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. According to the research, the word "Guo" may be the phonetic change of ancient characters. Du state was a feudal state in the Western Zhou Dynasty. The ancient "Du" has a long history. In order to reflect the historical context of "Guo Du", it is named Guo Du park.
