brief introduction
Lingfeng mountain is located in Hezhou, Guangxi, also known as Lingfeng mountain and mafengyan. It is a solitary limestone mountain rising from the ground. The Lingfeng mountain has a radius of about 1200 square meters and a height of more than 100 meters. Steep cliff danger, straight Jun Xiu, miscellaneous trees bite rock, simple and natural. There are grotesque rocks and caves on the mountain. The tunnels extend in all directions. The top of the cave is upside down. The bottom of the cave is connected with the underground river. There are fossils of Paleontology and cliff carvings left by celebrities in the cave.
Lingfengyan
In the north of the foot of the mountain, there is another cave, about 8 meters high and 5 meters wide, which can hold hundreds of people. Wang zanbin, a native of the ancient city, once wrote "lingfengyan" in calligraphy on the stone wall at the entrance of the cave. There used to be a viewing platform and stage in front of the mountain. The three characters of "Lingfeng platform" and couplet "first worry about the world, then joy of the world" were written by Mr. Li Jishen, former vice chairman of the Central People's government. Unfortunately, this platform and the inscription no longer exist.
Liuqu mountain bell Gallery
Located in the west of Lingfeng, liuqushan bell Gallery displays 18 ancient bronze and iron bells before Ming Dynasty. Among them, the bronze bell of qianheng temple was cast in the fourth year of Dabao (961) of the Southern Han Dynasty. It weighs 750 kg, is 1.33 meters high, and has a diameter of 0.83 meters. There are two dragon buttons on the top and back of the bell. The shape of the bell is exquisite and its mouth is like a trumpet. The decoration is gorgeous. There are several convex string patterns, four Zheng ornaments and 1288 characters engraved on the body of the clock. It records the casting age, size and weight of the clock, as well as the names of the supervisor, the foundry, the engraver and the monk who used it. It has a history of 1000 years. Although this clock has experienced many vicissitudes, its handwriting is still clear, which reflects the development level of politics, economy, culture, religion and productivity at that time. It has high historical and artistic value.
During the reign of Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty (1736-1795), this ancient bronze bell was placed in qianheng temple, Meigui village, Guiling township. In 1930, he moved to Sancheng temple. Because the sky will be able to ring around 20 miles when the dawn strikes, so "three times the dawn bell" is listed as one of the eight old sceneries in He county. It was moved to the present site in 1963, and the Bell Pavilion was specially built.
In 1963, the bronze bell was listed as a key cultural relic protection unit at the autonomous region level.

History and culture
Ancient human sites 10000 years ago
Lingfeng mountain, located in the southeast of Lingfeng square, is a rare natural and cultural heritage in the city center. In 1963, the regional census team of the autonomous region found about 3 cubic meters of grayish white deposits in the West small branch cave of a large cave (mafengyan) on the north side, containing abundant odontoid fossils. In addition, a small amount of similar deposits were found at the depth of 30 meters of the main cave. In 1988, students of Hezhou No.2 primary school found more than ten pieces of ground stone tools on the top of Lingfeng mountain. In 1993, Hezhou Museum once again made a detailed survey of the mountain. It was found that most of the cultural layers at the foot of the mountain were damaged. Today's cultural relics are mainly distributed on a 200 square meter flat ground between the East and West peaks. The relics include choppers made of river pebbles, stone chips, stone tools and many semi-finished products made by grinding stone tools There are two kinds of pottery: pottery and argillaceous grey pottery. Its decorative patterns include basket pattern, rope pattern, grid pattern, square pattern and stealing curve pattern. The striking stone tools are mostly one-time striking, without secondary processing. Some of them are made into double inclined planes after two to four strikes. They are axe shaped, 12 cm high, 10 cm wide and 8 cm thick. There are sections of stone, which are complete, oval, finely ground, single inclined plane and inclined blade. There are traces of being used, 8 cm high, 4.2 cm wide, 2 cm thick, 3.3 cm long on one side and 3.5 cm long on the other It is 9 cm high and 5 cm in diameter. Can distinguish the shape of the tripod (sand red pottery). Flat bottom can. Small gray pottery boxes, etc. It is an ancient human site of Neolithic clan society 6000-10000 years ago, with typical Luoyue cultural characteristics. It is also the only site with cultural layer distributed on the top of the mountain in China.
Inscriptions and postscripts on Moyan stone carvings
Another kind of cultural relic on Lingfeng mountain is the inscriptions and postscripts engraved on Molan stone. In 1989, the city museum found that there were 11 stone carvings on the surrounding stone walls: three big characters of "lingfengyan" written by Wang zanbin in August of the Republic of China, with a diameter of about 1 meter; two characters of "Lize" in the official script with a diameter of 40 cm; two pieces of "Xiaoyin" and "Kongming" in the cursive script. The inscriptions and postscripts written in running script "mafengyan"; Wu zuxu's "Yuezhi" running script; Lishu's "Huagai"; cursive script "Buddha"; running script "forgetting machine cave"; Li Jishen's "lingfengyan" and "Qujing" are well written, powerful and different in style.
The activity base of patriotic, democratic and anti Japanese personages
Since 1993, with the development of the city's tourism industry, it has become an indispensable urban landscape spot for foreign tourists. However, during the Anti Japanese War, why did Xiangning, Li Jishen and other democratic people live here. In the mid-1940s, He Xiangning, Li Jishen, Ouyang Yuqian and others, who came to celebrate the Anti Japanese democracy, united all the patriotic progressive forces in the former Pingle special office, and held grassland meetings on the East lawn of Lingfeng mountain and Liuqu mountain from time to time to preach the Anti Japanese guerrillas. Li Jishen also built an anti Japanese platform on the north side of Lingfeng rock, with the title of "civil administration by the people, war by the people" He Xiangning made Anti Japanese speeches here for many times. Even if the Japanese plane bombed, he regarded death as his home. That is to say, since then, the residents of Babu have formed the custom of having a party near Lingfeng mountain.
