Historian Dr. Li Ji named it "Changbin culture". Changbin culture is a typical gravel culture, which was spread to Taiwan through South China. As measured by carbon 14, Changbin culture dates back 15000 years. This culture proves that before the end of the Pleistocene, when Taiwan was connected with the mainland, Taiwan had become a place for human activities in the late Paleolithic period of the mainland.
