Historical evolution
China Aerospace Museum is affiliated to China Academy of launch vehicle technology.
On October 11, 1992, the China Space Museum was officially completed and opened for trial exhibition.
On August 30, 1993, the Chinese space museum was officially opened to the public.
Collection
The China Space Museum is located in the China Academy of launch vehicle technology, more than ten kilometers south of Tiananmen Square, the central axis of Beijing. The museum has an exhibition area of more than 10000 square meters.
China Aerospace Museum is a professional museum displaying China's Aerospace Science and technology and achievements. It is also a window for China's aerospace publicity and exhibition. It has been successively named as "ideological education base of central state organs", "national popular science education base", "Beijing Youth Popular Science Education Base", "Aerospace spirit education base", etc., and has been repeatedly rated as Beijing's advanced popular science work base Collective. The Chinese Space Museum has three floors of exhibition hall. The exhibition halls on the first and second floors are external exhibition halls, which are mainly divided into more than 10 exhibition areas, such as launch vehicle, manned space, artificial satellite, lunar exploration, rocket launch demonstration, spacecraft, China Aerospace image, comprehensive introduction of aerospace group, ancient space exploration, international cooperation and exchange, and future space prospects. With the development of China's aerospace industry as the main line, these exhibition areas vividly show the past and future of China's aerospace industry by means of modern display means through full and accurate historical data and rich objects and models.
China Space Museum has built a space museum for space enthusiasts
It is a platform for understanding and loving aerospace, which can stimulate visitors, especially young people's enthusiasm for learning Aerospace Science and their determination to serve their country.
The "ancient space exploration" part shows the achievements of China's ancient astronomical exploration and the theme that China is the hometown of rockets.
The main hall displays the physical objects and models of the "Long March" series of launch vehicles developed by China itself, which have sent domestic and foreign satellites into space many times. There are 10 LV satellites in the satellite area, such as fengyun-1, dongfanghong-1 and dongfanghong-2. In the west of the hall, there are a series of launch vehicle engines, which is the heart of the launch vehicle. In addition, you can also enjoy the magnificent appearance of the recoverable satellite recovery module returned from the sky, and enjoy the spectacular scene of the simulation demonstration of the whole flight process of the famous "Long March 2" strap on rocket launching Australia satellite.
In the exhibition hall, ancient civilization and modern brilliance complement each other. At the end of the exhibition, the exhibitor creatively simulated a wonderful fairyland on the moon, which was full of interest under the glow of colored lights, making the audience full of imagination. Up the escalator, the second floor exhibition hall shows the promotion and application of aerospace high-tech achievements, and the third floor exhibition hall introduces the professional technology of each classification system. There is also a well-equipped academic lecture hall in the museum, which often carries out academic exchange activities.
Since ancient times, human beings have yearned for space and made a lot of explorations. The development of modern space technology provides a possible means for human beings to travel in space. The space museum is a good place to show the history of human spaceflight and carry out popular science education with high-tech means.
architectural composition
The space museum is also the most advanced Museum using modern means and technology in exhibition. On the left side of the hall, a long March 4 carrier rocket, such as a giant dragon, lies in it. On the left side, the exhibitions of "fire dragon", "zhentianlei" and "wanhufei" bring people to ancient China, known as the "hometown of Rockets". In the middle of the hall is the exhibition of "the starry sky is calling". There are various types of satellite entities and models in our country on display here. Walking here is like walking into the complicated starry world. The most amazing thing is that three long March launch vehicles are flying in the air in front of the hall, symbolizing the dignity and high spirited momentum of the Chinese people; while the simulated launch performance in the rear of the hall makes people feel at the scene of the rocket launch and appreciate the tension and excitement of the rocket launch. The whole museum, with 4 transport rockets and 6 satellites, hundreds of models and nearly 1000 photos, forms a picture of China's space take-off. Here, we see the new achievements of China's reform and opening up, see China's future, and enhance our confidence in realizing the "four modernizations"!
The second part is Shenzhou spacecraft and Shenzhou spacecraft return module. Shenzhou spacecraft consists of propulsion module (lower part), return module (middle part), orbit module (upper part) and auxiliary section (top part). The propulsion module is the power device of the take-off ship when it is running in space and returning to the ground; the return module is the cabin for the astronauts during the take-off, flight and return of the spacecraft, and it is also the control center of the whole spacecraft; the orbital module is the place for the astronauts to work and live in space, and it is equipped with various test instruments and equipment; the additional section is for the rendezvous and docking with another spacecraft or space station in the future It's time to prepare. The total length of the spacecraft is 8.86 meters, the total weight is 7790 kg, and the space area of the spacecraft is 2.2 meters by 2.5 meters, which can provide about 6 cubic meters of space for astronauts to move freely.
