Lefo temple, located in Shidu Park, Shidu Park, Fangshan District, Beijing, is a Chinese Buddhist temple. There is a mountain in front of Shidu in Fangshan District. Because it looks like Maitreya Buddha, it is called Le Foshan. On the hillside opposite lefo mountain, there are lefo temple and Buddhist Pavilion. The original yuefo temple was small and crude. After years of efforts, the expansion project was approved by Beijing Buddhist Association and Beijing Religious Bureau in the early 21st century.
