Wangjiayuan reservoir

Wangjiayuan reservoir is located in Liucun township of Changping County, at the exit of baiyanggou natural scenic spot in the southwest of Changping County, about 10 km away from Nankou town. Baiyangchenggou, a tributary of Wenyu River. The dam site is in Wangjiayuan village.

General situation

In 1960, a total of 519000 cubic meters of earth and stone works were completed. The total area of the reservoir is 420000 square meters. The total storage capacity is 5.26 million cubic meters, and the controlled drainage area is 43 square kilometers. It has one main dam, one spillway, one water transmission pipe (including one intake tower) and one power station. The main dam is 37 meters high and the crest is 164 meters long. The annual water supply is 3 million cubic meters.

There were more silver carp and horse mouth fish, followed by crucian carp, catfish and carp. If you are lucky, you can also see the big herring swimming on the water occasionally. As the location of the reservoir is not within the jurisdiction of the scenic area, people who come here to fish only need to buy a fishing ticket. The rate is 10 yuan per pole.

Route

You can take bus 345 from Deshengmen, get off at Changping West Ring South Road, walk more than 200 meters northward, transfer to bus No. 11 in front of Changping Electric Power Bureau, get off at gujiang village, and walk about 2 kilometers westward.

Another: take No. 914 from Xiaoying west station to Nankou 357 terminal, and then transfer to No. 11.
