Beixiaohe Park

Beixiaohe park is located in Donghu District, Chaoyang District, covering an area of 22.8 hectares, including 0.7 hectares of water surface. Beixiaohe Park, formerly known as the green land collection agency, was built in 2005 by Chaoyang District Party committee and government for private practical investment. It was officially opened to the public free of charge on May 1, 2006. In March 2007, Beijing Chaoyang District Beixiaohe park management organization was established, and in September of the same year, it was rated as a boutique park.

About the park

Beixiaohe park is divided into Riverside leisure area, children's activity area, forest theater, sports fitness area and mountain forest activity area. The construction concept of the park is to strive to provide more and better green leisure places for the surrounding residents. In the construction, the natural and irregular landscape expression techniques are fully used to create a relaxed garden living environment in the noisy city, so as to endow the static garden landscape with culture and era color, so that every immersive visitor can experience the new life concept of "relaxed, comfortable, fashionable and environmental protection", and feel the history and modern, East and West, and natural landscape The harmonious unity of color and architectural style.

Park greening

The greening mainly uses Populus deltoides, Salix Mantou, Fraxinus tomentosa, Ginkgo biloba, Pinus tabulaeformis, ground cover flowers and other plants to create a green, suburban and ecological entrance landscape environment.

Regionalization

Children's activity area:

The children's activity area fully highlights the humanized design concept. In order to prevent children from bumping and damaging, the ground is paved with soft plastic floor, swing, bunker, slide and other facilities. There are many kinds of amusement facilities, such as interesting maze, willow tree array, sand pit, slide and swing. Adults and children can play together. They are wild, childlike, fun and fun. This area is not only a paradise for children, but also a parent-child space for every family. Every morning, evening or weekend, it also becomes a good place for parents to communicate and interact.

It is mainly planted with Fraxinus americana, Fraxinus villosa, Prunus persica, Prunus mume, weeping willow, Pinus tabulaeformis, Phyllostachys praecox and perennial flowers to form a colorful plant landscape, which meets the psychological needs of children.

Sports fitness area

The sports fitness area of the park has tennis court, basketball court, table tennis court, fitness equipment court, etc

A sports square to meet the needs of people of different ages. In terms of construction, we pay attention to the organic combination of sports leisure and greening beautification, planting a variety of plants around the playground, providing a sports leisure site and a natural oxygen bar with fresh air for tourists. All of these sports venues are open to tourists free of charge.

The main plants are Populus tomentosa and Prunus persica, which enable residents to carry out fitness activities under thick green shade.

Forest Theater

On the edge of the Central Lake area, there is an open-air theater which can accommodate more than 2000 people. The natural background is the back slope, which naturally forms the boundary between vision and hearing. The theatre steps are divided into three levels, which is an ideal venue for large-scale outdoor performances.

Let the public show their talents here. Some famous poets and musicians' sculptures are arranged around the theater to create a better cultural atmosphere. On the west side of the theater, combined with the terrain transformation, large-scale Acer Acer truncatum was planted to form a varied canopy line. At the same time, diamond Begonia, strawberry jelly Begonia, Lagerstroemia indica, hawthorn, Cupressus orientalis and other foliage plants were planted. The spring and autumn plant viewing area was formed in the forest theater, which can also be used as a beautiful background for the stair stand.

Lake District

The design provides residents with a variety of hydrophilic ways. People can enjoy the scenery of lakes and mountains. Lake District

Planting embodies the principle of green and ecology, and aquatic plants are arranged in the form of community. The main aquatic plants are Phragmites australis, Lythrum chinense, Welsh onion, Miscanthus, Acorus calamus, iris, Acorus calamus, etc.

Mountain forest activity area

In the northwest area of the park, the current earth mountain is used for Terrain Reconstruction and arrangement to block the Jingcheng expressway, with the highest peak of 12 meters. Build a mountain climbing path, where the surrounding residents can climb mountains and read poems to exercise and relax. According to the landscape of spring, summer, autumn and winter, different color plants are planted to create colorful mountain forest landscape. The plants are Populus tomentosa, Populus deltoides, Salix Mantou, Cotinus coggygria, Prunus persica, Pinus tabulaeformis, Pinus bungeana, Platycladus orientalis, etc. the configuration design forms a rich canopy line.

Riverside leisure area

On both sides of Beixiaohe River, the riverside leisure activity site is designed. The design makes full use of the North River

Riverside landscape, setting riverside fitness promenade, Riverside shady leisure square, providing comfortable, beautiful and healthy leisure space for residents around the park. Platanus acerifolia, Magnolia, Koelreuteria, Ginkgo biloba, clove, peach, willow, perennial flowers and other plants are planted in the riverside green space, characterized by spring viewing.

East Lake Guandi Temple

The Guandi Temple of Donghu was originally built in donghuqu village during the reign of Emperor Qianlong. It was jointly built by donghuqu villagers. When donghuqu village was demolished at the end of 2004, the temple was moved to Beixiaohe Park in 2005 with the approval and funding of the cultural relics department.
