Zhongyan Temple
Zhongyan temple was founded in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, which was highlighted in the ancient Zhongyan of the Tang and Song dynasties. It was a famous Buddhist holy land in the early days. It is said that it is the fifth of the sixteen Arhats, and the Taoist temple of nuojuna, the fifth arhat. Its Buddhism is great, and it is as famous as Mount Emei in ancient times. There is a saying that "you should first swim in the middle of the rock, then you can swim in Eshan". Before nuojuna, Zhongyan was known as cilaoshan. Yuan Rui, a monk in the Ming Dynasty, said in the inscription on Zhongyan mountain: "before nuojuna was founded, Zhongyan was formerly known as yuquanyan, which was originally the place where Madame cigran showed her trace. Therefore, it is also called CILU mountain, CILU rock or CILU alum. As a venerable Taoist temple, it gradually formed its present name.

They were praised by Fan Chengda as "the best place of forest spring in Xichuan", and Lu you as "the first mountain in southern Sichuan". Famous scenic spot
Jianglou Shuiyue
Located on the Bank of the cilao bridge in Xiayan, on the water surface of Minjiang River in fantou, cilao, "Qingshen county annals (Guangxu Edition)" says: "Xiayan, there is a water moon tower on the river. Tourists often visit the river, drink and write poems. The most lovely one is the sky and water bottom, the moon imprints the heart of the wave, the green bamboo crosses the stream, the flowing spring and the resounding stone, and the best scenery in Chengyi." In Zhongyan Ji written by Xiong Xiang of Ming Dynasty, "Zhengde Wuyin, Yu went to Qingshen and stayed in Xiayan. When you climb the shuiyuelou tomorrow, the White Dew will cross the river, the water and the sky will be the same, and the peaks of Emei will be like several cases. You will feel happy and broad-minded. " Zhongxing of the Ming Dynasty wrote in Zhongyan Ji: "crossing the river is Shuiyue building. The building is located in the river, where the temple is located. From the building to the river, you can see the mansion. When you ascend the building from the temple, you will descend instead. The steps are poor and the building is close together. The stairs are half as strong as the stairs. At the end of the Qi Dynasty, you can't reach the site of the temple. " In the past, the shape of shuiyuelou was better than others. As time goes by and the river washes away, the building has collapsed for a long time and has not entered the river. Around its former site, it is now built with stone fort ridge, built as a platform, surrounded by railings, and covered with ancient banyan trees. During the visit, you can still ponder the scenery of the past near the building overlooking the river.
Long Qiu calls fish
The scenic spot is now called fish pond. Follow the stone path on the right side of Xiasi temple for about half a kilometer, then enter the gorge stream where the two mountains stand, and turn it several times along the stream. Under the precipice, there are flowers and bamboos like embroidery, and chengtan Yihong. It is said that it is the cave house of Mrs. cilao. It is known as "Longqiu" in the world and "Longqiu scenic spot" in ancient times. Above it is cilao rock. The depth of the pool is unfathomable. Some fish are hiding in it. But when the tourists clap their hands, the fish will come out.
At that time, when Su Dongpo was studying in Zhongyan, he was named ruwangfang. Because of his love for the beautiful scenery of this pool, he often watched the scenery from the pool, clapped his hands to call the fish, and proposed to name the pool. Wang Fang then met the celebrities in Shenghui county and made an appointment to recommend their names. They were not satisfied with each other. Only Su Dongpo recommended "calling fish pond", which was elegant and profound. (it's said that Wang Fangzheng thought that he loved queen Fu and sent her maidservant to send her a letter of recommendation, which is also called "fish pond". He and Su Dongpo seem to have the same idea. Wang Fang was overjoyed and even called "wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful Su Dongpo was ordered to write the three characters "call fish pond" in calligraphy, engraved on the cliff, and betrothed his daughter Wang Fu (16 years old) to Su Shi (19 years old) as his wife to form a good couple. Since then, "Longqiu" scenery, will add "call fish marriage" of the Millennium story, a total of "Longqiu call fish" scenic spots. There are lots of inscriptions among the rocks, many famous artists, and it is one of the natural treasures of Zhongyan cultural relics.
Buddha penetrates the clouds
According to the old records, niutouqiao is located on the left side of the road from Xiasi to Zhongsi. The hole is 4.6 meters high and 7.2 meters wide. The diameter of the hole is large in front and small in back. It looks like a bull's horn. It is deep and unpredictable. There are four characters "Niutou Yiqiao" on the forehead of the cave, which was formerly called "Niutou cave". At the entrance of the cave, there were sixteen statues of luohanfu, and a "statue of Zhao Gongming" was paid, so it was also called "Luohandong" or "God of wealth cave". In the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, Yu Fangchi, a native of the county (compiled by Hanlin), took the word "chuanyundong" from the righteousness book of "Buddha's cave pierces the cloud", which was embedded in the cave top. According to legend, there was a "Niutoushan Temple" monk in ancient Tongchuan prefecture (now Santai, Sichuan) who had a good relationship with nuojuna, the founder of Zhongyan mountain. Because the Pearl of Buddha's forehead was stolen, when the thief washed it by the river, he accidentally dropped it into the water and got it for Poseidon. The official asked the monk to return it within a time limit, so the main monk traveled thousands of miles to Zhongyan to get help from nuojuna and ask for the Pearl from the sea god. When he left, nuojuna guided the monk into the cave and told him to close his eyes and help him with magic power. However, he felt that the "light of the garden" was in front of him and the wind was blowing in his ears. When he heard that he called his name, he opened his eyes to the bottom of Niutou peak and the original pearl wall was returned, so he avoided a disaster in the temple. From then on, nuojuna and the main monk of Niutou Temple used this cave to communicate with each other to create the Zhongyan Buddhist temple. Finally, they all died on Zhongyan mountain, and their bodies were buried in nuojuna niche after baopingfeng. According to Chen Xiangyi's Shudu Suishi, "Niutou mountain has half a cave. It's said that it's eight hundred miles from Meizhou. Some people once hid in it and saw it in Qingshen's rock.".
Long corridor Thousand Buddhas
From "Chuanyun cave" forward, namely "LuoHANYAN". From there, it reaches "Yuquan rock", which meanders for several miles. It is the gathering place of "Buddhist images" in Zhongyan, which was called "Thousand Buddha corridor" in ancient times. On the top and bottom of the cliff, there are more than 2000 Buddha statues, mostly in Tang and Song dynasties. The legal world is solemn, with different expressions, simple style and exquisite skills. On the other side of the rock, there are many peaks, thousands of rocks, scenery and cultural relics.
Fairy bed
There is a stone bed in the cave, 7 meters long, 3.5 meters wide and 2 meters high from the top of the cave. There are concave traces of human lying on the surface of the bed, which is called "immortal from the bed" in the world. It is said that the eminent monk "endless Zen master" of the Tang Dynasty often lived in this rock to meditate in meditation, and later became a positive result. Around the cave wall, more than 2000 Buddha statues have been carved. It is said in the records of places of interest in Sichuan (Volume 12), "the cliffs here are carved with thousands of Buddhas, the rocks are like houses, and there are traces of immortals lying in them.". Visitors climb on the "immortal bed" and look at it: on the top, there is a vast expanse of space; on the bottom, there is a straight stream and spring; on the front, there are red terraces and green cliffs; on the left, there is a spring splashing with beads; on the right, there are white tigers and green dragons. A new pavilion is built on the winding path below the "immortal bed" for tourists to have a rest. Up to the cliff, down to the abyss and ravines, visitors come here, "looking at the rock eyes, caressing the heart of all things in the sky", have the feeling of "relying on the virtual wind", so it is called "lingxu Pavilion".
Yuquan flowing cup
At the end of "Thousand Buddha corridor" is "yuquanyan". The grottoes are 21.2 meters long, 11 meters wide and 12 meters high. The inscription "Xi painted Kaiguang" on the front of the grottoes means "Fu Xi's painting of eight trigrams". Xiong Xiang of Ming Dynasty said in Zhongyan Ji: "the rock cover is like a house, and the spring comes out of the rock. It's lovely to spray like a splash. " "Records of places of interest in Shu" (Volume 12) is also known as: "half of the rock is Liubei pool, one is Taiji pool.". Its shape was chiseled according to the "Taiji diagram" in the book of changes. Huangshangu (also known as Tingjian), a great writer of the Song Dynasty, was a guest of Qingshen for three months. He was invited to visit Zhongyan for many times. Every time he drank water from yuquanyan, he enjoyed the scenery and expressed his feelings. He wrote yuquanming and published it in stone. After that, the literati of all ages followed suit and made an appointment to come here to cook tea and have fun. Gradually, it became a common practice to chant in the flowing cup of "Taiji pool" to express one's feelings and aspirations, and to hold stone as a memento. Therefore, the forest of steles stands among the rocks. Most of the inscriptions are lost today. But "Yuquan" remains, and "taijichi" still exists, which is still a big landscape in Zhongyan.
The scenery of grandma
Cilao peak is the main peak of Zhongyan, half of the mountain. It was the site of Zhongsi in the past. The temple was magnificent and solemn, and it was destroyed during the cultural revolution. Since 1984, the temple has been repaired and rebuilt in succession. The Zhongyan Museum exhibition hall, stele Gallery, pharmacist hall and so on have been built in the old site of the temple. It is planned to be changed into a museum exhibition center. On the left and right sides of the peak, there are gorge streams, which are surrounded by Double Dragons. The murmur converges at the bottom of the peak, and there is a small stone bridge named "Shuanglong Bridge". Standing at the end of the bridge, visitors look around: surrounded by four mountains, green hills, lingering ravines, cool green shade, verdant flowers and trees, singing birds and flying eagles, a quiet school, vividly painting the beautiful scenery of Zhongyan.
Crouching tiger on the platform
On the side of the road from Zhongyan to Shangyan, there are huge and jagged rocks, which are densely covered with song and Ming Dynasty inscriptions. Under the stone there is a small stone bridge lying on the gully, which is called "Tiger Bridge". At the end of the bridge is the place where immortals ambush tigers, which is called "tiger platform". Both "Sichuan Tongzhi" and "records of places of interest in Sichuan" contain: "in the Tang Dynasty, endless Zen masters ambushed tigers under stalagmites, so-called tiger platform." In the corner to the left of today's Boulder, there is a small stone tiger crouching and tame. Between the walls, Yu Qingye (Prince Taibao of Ming Dynasty, Minister of military affairs, son of Yu Zijun from the county) inscribes "Fu Hu" and "endless hall" with complete and clear handwriting. According to legend, the Tang Dynasty "endless Zen master" meditated on the "immortal bed". One day, just as the sun was setting, the incense in the mountain was gradually thinning, and tourists were going down the mountain. Suddenly, the wind shook the jungle, and the haze was suddenly rising. The tiger roared in the valley, accompanied by children's cry for help. The Zen master opened his eyes and saw a beautiful tiger chasing two children at the foot of stalagmite peak. He was in a critical condition.
