Liaoning Beipiao Daheishan scenic spot is located in the northwest of Beipiao City, Liaoning Province, at the junction of Aohan banner in Inner Mongolia, 30 kilometers away from Beipiao City. It is now a national 4A scenic spot and Liaoning Provincial eco-tourism demonstration area.

Daheishan scenic spot has the characteristics of gathering plants in North China, Inner Mongolia and Daxinganling, and the wild natural forest has high research value. The core area of the park is 29.4 square kilometers, the forest coverage rate is 93%, and the highest altitude is 1074.3. Daheishan is a natural and cultural landscape composed of "strange peaks and rocks", including glass plank road, cableway, wooden plank road, footpath, etc.

Forest vegetation landscape

Daheishan has the largest area of primary secondary forest in western Liaoning Province, with coniferous forest, deciduous broad-leaved forest, coniferous broad-leaved mixed forest and shrubbery all over the mountains, green and colorful in spring, summer, autumn and winter. Due to the large temperature difference between winter and summer and between day and night, the leaves of deciduous forest and broad-leaved forest turn yellow, red, brown and other colors in late autumn, forming a colorful vegetation landscape.

Forest flower landscape

In the forest scenic spot, there are more than 100 mu of mountain apricot forest, lilac and wild Rhododendron. In early spring, apricot flowers bloom, and the mountain is full of fragrance. 4、 In May, rhododendrons are blooming all over the mountains, the shoots of the forest are green, and the forest is colorful. It is a rare forest landscape in northern China. Geomorphic landscape

Daheishan is the Yanshan Mountains, which uplifted from the sea during the orogeny. The sea water erosion in the early stage formed a variety of strange peaks and rocks. There are 19 mountain groups with high ornamental value and more than 70 lifelike stones in the scenic area. Qifeng stone shapes are different, lifelike, "Qifeng inverted Tiangong sigh, the top hanging stone ghosts surprise", it is amazing the uncanny workmanship of nature. Stream valley landscape: there are three large valleys in the park: Lilin Valley, chimney Valley and dalima valley. The valley has water all year round, and many small waterfalls can be formed in rainy season. All kinds of wild flowers in the valley compete in spring, summer and autumn. People in the valley, distant strange peaks, dense forests, gurgling water, relaxed and happy, forget to return. The ice formed in winter in the gully will not be completely melted until the end of May next year. It can be described as a unique landscape of "green forest turning back a hundred times, frost leaves overlapping a thousand layers, wanjiaqing Dragon Boat Festival, black mountain ice in May". After 1997, some new cultural landscapes have been added in the park: "Wulan Pavilion", "Yingxu Pavilion", "stele forest Pavilion", "hero tree", "forest zoo", "celebrity stele forest garden", "Daheishan poetry, calligraphy and painting exhibition hall", etc. more than 60 pieces of celebrity calligraphy and poetry are engraved on the stone wall for visitors to watch.

Huiyuan Temple

Huiyuan temple, a Tibetan Buddhist temple located in the valley of Daheishan scenic spot, was built in 1841 and destroyed in 1966. Huiyuan temple is newly built, covering an area of 66000 square meters and a construction area of 16000 square meters. At present, there is a back hall for three masters of zongkaba, including Manjusri Bodhisattva, Vajrayana Bodhisattva, four arm Avalokitesvara, western three Saints (amitreya, Avalokitesvara, dashizhi Bodhisattva) and eight Bodhisattvas of Avalokitesvara with brass and gold. One Tianda hall. There are four heavenly kings, Maitreya Buddha and Weituo Dharma protector. The sculpture outside the Tianwang hall reached the peak of the national sculpture art. The temple is about to build a three storey main hall, East and West Hall, bell and Drum Tower. Outside the temple, there will be eight pagodas, nine meter high Gongde pagoda and eight lotus pools. The architecture of Huiyuan temple is a combination of Han, Manchu, Mongolian and Tibetan styles. Here, the morning bell and evening drum, the Buddhist Chant, the faithful men and women, and the incense burning ceremony add a beautiful landscape with unique national characteristics to Daheishan forest park.

Natural mineral spring

There is a natural low-temperature mineral spring in the park, with a water temperature of 31 ℃ and a daily water yield of more than 120 tons. After scientific identification, the water contains a variety of beneficial trace elements, which has high medical value and health care effect. Now there is a mineral spring sanatorium, which integrates eating, living, entertainment, bathing and shopping. It is an ideal place for recuperation, tourism and leisure. There is a deer farm in the park, which is the largest Northeast Sika Deer breeding base in western Liaoning Province. The deer antler, deer whip, deer fetus and various deer products are deeply loved by the majority of consumers.

Peak competition

Qunfeng Jingxiu is one of the main scenic spots in Daheishan scenic area. Qunfeng Jingxiu is composed of cableway, glass plank road, antiseptic wooden plank road and other landscapes. It is mainly characterized by strange peaks and strange rocks, with the theme of Chinese traditional culture and love culture. There are more than 30 scenic spots, such as "Golden Bell toad", "Chinese stone dragon", "God carving Xialv", "fengbating", "chimney ditch", etc. The peak competition is located in the center of Daheishan scenic spot, which is the core scenic spot of Daheishan. The scenic area has a circular footpath with a total length of about 5000 meters. Among them, there are 4500 meters of high-end wooden plank road, 106 meters of thrilling suspended glass plank road, 3 viewing corridors, pavilions and 13 viewing platforms.

Journey to fairyland

Located in the northeast of Daheishan scenic spot, the fairyland scenic spot has many scenic spots, such as "Chinese filial piety", "Dongsheng Shenzhou", "Zhenshan bottle" and "Chengen Pavilion".

In the 4500 meter long pilgrimage to the west, due to the fact that there are often filial sons and daughters pushing wheelchairs with their parents, tourists praise this plank road as "filial piety" over time, so the barrier free plank road in fairyland has become the first "Chinese filial piety" in the real sense in China.

May ice

Located in the south of Daheishan, it is connected by a sightseeing lane, a 4000 meter long circular trail and a number of viewing platforms. In the cold path valley between the two mountains, you can enjoy the cool air even in the hot summer. Because of the special geographical location, the mountain spring water here freezes into ice in the cold winter, so it is called "may ice" by the local people.

In the May ice service area, walk along the footpath for about 100 meters, on both sides of the hillside. The ice layer here is several meters thick in winter. The mountain wind blows, and the ice is covered with layers of fallen leaves. It is not until every summer that the ice layer begins to melt slowly, and it is not until around the Dragon Boat Festival that it can be completely melted.

Sightseeing cableway

Daheishan scenic area has a total investment of 130 million yuan, which was started on April 1, 2016 and officially put into operation in October 2017. The cableway adopts single line circulating detachable cable holding device, with a total of 58 hanging boxes for 8 people, with a design capacity of 2000 people per hour and a single journey of 7 minutes. The total length of the cableway is 2200m, the height difference between the top and bottom is 310m, and 13 supports are set along the way. The next station is located on the south slope of the tourist center, including the tourist center, with a construction area of 4500 square meters.

Glass plank road

The glass plank road is located on the cliff at an altitude of 850 meters, with a total length of 106 meters, a width of 1.45 meters, and a height of 1.10 meters. It is more than 70 meters away from the highest place at the bottom of the cliff. A sightseeing glass platform is built at the East end, covering an area of 50 square meters. The maximum instantaneous space carrying capacity is about 350 people. Standing on the viewing platform of the glass plank road, you can see the May ice scenic spot in the distance.

Chinese filial piety

The total length of Zhonghua filial piety is 4500 meters, the height difference between the upper and lower exits is 65 meters, and there are no steps in the whole process.

Cloud sea refers to the cloud layer formed under certain weather conditions, and the cloud top height is lower than the peak height, so this phenomenon is called "cloud sea".

Development and construction

In June 1996, Daheishan Forest Park was promoted to national forest park by the third meeting of national landscape resources evaluation committee. The core area of the park covers an area of 29.4 square kilometers, with a forest coverage rate of 93%. It is a mountain type forest park characterized by "quiet" and "wild interest", and integrates six natural images of "masculine, strange, dangerous, beautiful, quiet and broad". It is mainly a natural landscape. The park is divided into four scenic spots: Spring Dawn of apricot forest, smoke tree of Heishan, deep haze, and competitive beauty of peaks. There is a "Xinghua villa" holiday village, a mineral spring sanatorium, and a state-owned Daheishan deer farm in the park. The series of products produced by the park are well-known in Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Hebei and other places. There are also such beautiful stories and legends as Xue Rengui's capture of the Qidan King Abugu alive, Qianlong's tour to the east to watch tieshuhua blossom, the brothers of fengba, Emperor Wen of the northern Yan Dynasty, escaping from the pursuit and killing here, and Yi Tianlin's Anti Japanese and anti Manchuria activities. Located to the west of beishanmen, the scenic area is lush in vegetation and the valley is full of flowing water all year round, which is the best vegetation coverage of the whole forest park. Pingdingshan, 1074 meters above sea level, is the highest point of the forest park and the first main peak of Beipiao.
