Gaoshiti Forest Park

Gaoshiti Forest Park is located in Rongxian County, Zigong City. The park has a unique landform. Huge rocks, strange peaks, valleys and streams form a typical natural landscape of low mountain landform in southern Sichuan. Gaoshiti Forest Park is located in Rongxian County, Zigong City. The park has a unique landform. Huge rocks, strange peaks, valleys and streams form a typical natural landscape of low mountain landform in southern Sichuan. As early as the 33rd year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, it was regarded as one of the four major refuge places for foreigners in Sichuan by the West China Diocese of the Christian Church. Gaoshiti Forest Park has luxuriant trees and beautiful scenery.

Jiuxiaoding

Jiuxiaoding is the highest peak and also the destination of tourism. There are more than 30 peaks, big and small. From afar, jiuxiaoding looks like a mushroom, like a swan hatching eggs. It is commonly known as "Swan Baoding". On the side of the half rock slope of the peak, the pebbles of "swan egg" were excavated, ranging in size from a basket to a rugby ball. On the front of "Swan", there is a red stone rock, which looks like a "manggebao" when viewed from the side. It is facing "Swan" with "frog watching" and is waiting for the opportunity to eat "swan eggs".

Yang Siyan

Yangsiyan, facing the shishangou across the valley, has four chambers carved on the half cliff, six Qing Dynasty steles embedded on the wall, and the remnants of the villagers lighting the sky lamp are still there. It is said that a wooden statue of God, named Yangsi, came from Mount Emei and was good at fighting. In order to protect the local peace, villagers dug holes to build temples and placed the statue of General Yang Si, so it was named "Yang Siyan". A sheep intestine stone level, all rely on the pedal hand to climb to enter the cave.

Two lions worship elephants

Double lion worship elephant -- laolinkou at the north end of Gaoshiti, with luxuriant trees, dangerous terrain and peculiar mountain shape. Among them, two mountains are like lions, one is like laughing arhat, and the other is like an elephant. From a distance, it's like laughing that Luohan leads two lions to worship the elephant, which is called "double lions worship the elephant".

Stalagmites flying in the air

Stalagmites flying in the air - under the "goose neck", there is a man digging a hole. Passing through is a ravine, with steep cliffs on both sides. The mountain is high and dangerous. Terraced fields along the ravine feel like a "Paradise outside the cave". At the bottom of the ditch, a peak stands, piercing the blue sky. It is called stalagmite mountain, and the ditch is called "stalagmite ditch". It is said that elephants feed on bamboo shoots, and stalagmites are born of elephants. There is a red Rhododendron on the stalagmite. It is as red as fire in late spring and early summer, which is very spectacular.

Self driving: drive from Chengjiaqiao village, Rong County, Zigong City to Jingrong Road, then pass wulidun village, yindingqiao village, baishipu village, yaotangchong village, Shiba village, ciba'ao village, sanqingdian village, xinlongzui village, waziping village, Chuandian village and Shanwang temple.
