brief introduction
Hubei Theater
Located in Yuemachang of Wuchang, the starting point of the urban axis of Wuluo Road, it is a landmark project of spiritual civilization construction in Hubei Province during the Ninth Five Year Plan period. It was designed in 1999 and completed in 2001. Invested by Hubei Provincial People's government, it was completed and put into use in early February 2002. With a construction area of 11767 square meters and a height of 48 meters, the basement is the parking garage and equipment room, and the three floors above the ground are the foyer, the theater pool and the building. The large-scale design of theater stage and auditorium has achieved good audio-visual effects, which can meet the needs of various modern large-scale performances. The design concept takes the meaning of yellow crane, guqin and Xieshan, and expresses the connotation of traditional culture with modern architectural language. The architectural form is as light as the Yellow Crane's wings, and as harmonious as the drum and zither platform, forming a distinctive artistic palace.
