Liuxia of Fujiang River is located in Jiangyou City, Sichuan Province, which is the "hometown of Li Bai, the gateway of Jiuzhai, the throat of Shu Road, the city of Chinese poetry, and the hometown of gunpowder". It is between douyao mountain, the national AAAA scenic spot of Jiangyou City, and Guanwu mountain, the holy land of Buddhism, and close to ape King cave and Tibetan king village. It starts from nanzeba, tiegou, Xiangyan fan, Pingwu County in the north and ends at baishigou, Wudu town in the southeast, with a total length of about 20km. The total drop is nearly 50m, and the average longitudinal gradient of the riverbed is about 2.5 ‰. From fantiegou to the south, the six Gorges are shimenguan gorge, Pingyi gorge, Laba gorge, zangwangzhai gorge, NIUBIZI gorge, diaojin gorge, etc. In 2009, after the completion of Wudu Water Diversion Project reservoir, the backwater length of the reservoir is 37km, which can reach nanzeba in Pingwu County. At that time, the river section where the six Gorges are located will be connected into one, and become the most promising artificial lake. The Ministry of water resources officially awarded Liuxia of Fujiang as "the 13th batch of National Water Conservancy Scenic Spots".

geographical environment

Within an average width of 4km on both sides of Liuxia gorge, there are more than 10 peaks above 1500m, and there are more than 2000m peaks farther away. Niuxin mountain, the highest peak, is 2231m. The maximum height of a single Canyon in Fujiang gorge is about 100m. Because the steep cliffs behind the canyon are arranged in a ladder shape one after another, the total height of the canyon can reach more than 1500m, and the bottom canyon wall is almost upright, which is very dangerous.

Because the upstream of the six Gorges of Fujiang River originates from the uninhabited Xuebaoding, the world natural and cultural heritage sites Huanglong, Jiuzhaigou and Wanglang Nature Reserves, there are no big cities along the way, and it is a pure land that has not been developed so far. Therefore, the water quality of Fujiang River is clear and transparent, the environment of the gorge area is beautiful, the green water is lined with green mountains, fragrant grass, and the sound of streams and birds is heard all the time. After the completion of Wudu reservoir, yacht navigation will be realized from the tail of nanzeba reservoir to the head of beichengshou. In addition, there are highways along the river. With the development of the six Gorges of the Fujiang River, Guanwu mountain, Fujiang gorge and douyao mountain (including the southern section of the Tibetan Wangzhai mountain) will become one of the best scenic spots in Sichuan Province.

History and Humanities

Huaping gorge is famous for Li Bai's poem "woodcutter and tiller go in and out of Huaping". On the way to gujiangyou pass, Li Bai saw a group of laboring mountain people roaring folk songs, carrying farm tools, carrying firewood and returning happily in the picturesque mountain like a mirror screen in the sunset, so he wrote a quatrains of the ages.

Liulong gorge is a poem from Li Bai's poem "the road to Sichuan is difficult". It means that the road above is full of stone plank roads, steep and narrow, the space is low, and the carriage has to turn back, so it is also called "inverted horse ridge"; there is a surging torrent impact on the cliff, showing the trend of backward flow, showing the Fujiang River Narrow river, Grand Canyon landscape.

Yanyun gorge is a poem from Li Bai's poem "a gift to Jiangyou Wei". It means that the wild swallows in the gorge build their nests on the cliffs, and the white clouds drift by. It is full of a quiet atmosphere. It depicts the magnificent scenery of the gorge, such as the beautiful forest, the falling stream and the flowing mist.

Qingtian gorge is derived from Li Bai's poem "it's hard to get to the Qingtian mountain when the road to Sichuan is hard". It describes the precipitous gorge in the area of Tibetan king village, with thousands of cliffs, which fully shows the unique and dangerous landscape of Qingtian gorge.

Feibao gorge is derived from Li Bai's poem "the difficulty of Shu Road", which says "the rushing waterfall competes with the roar (sound: Hui), the roar (sound: Ping) the cliff turns to the stone, and the thunder" refers to the sound of water rushing against the stone wall. Here it means that the torrent and the waterfall rush the rock, and the torrent pushes the huge stone to turn, and the thunder resounds through the thousands of valleys and mountains. Describes the river, valley, bamboo, waterfall of the magnificent nature.

Fangchun gorge is the first gorge in the north of the scenic spot. It is close to fantiegou ancient town and Guishan mountain. Here, with idyllic flowers, pines and bamboo groves, mountains and rivers depend on each other, and the plank road goes around. It is as colorful as spring in March, so it is called Fangchun gorge.

Main attractions

The Liuxia scenic spot of Fujiang in Sichuan Province relies on Wudu reservoir, which is called "the second Dujiangyan" by Comrade Deng Xiaoping.
