Sanzhi Fucheng Palace
Sanzhi Fucheng palace is located in Zhongshan Road, putouli, Sanzhi District, Xinbei city. It was built in the eighth year of the Republic of China and dedicated to Mazu. This was dedicated to Tianhou palace in Taipei by Liu Mingchuan, the governor of the Qing Dynasty. Later, because the Japanese occupied it, they demolished it and placed it in one of the rooms of the Taipei hall. Huang Jianlong, a scholar of Sanzhi District, heard about it. So he advocated building a temple to offer sacrifices to the gods together with the distinguished family members, and was awarded the title With the permission of the Japanese, they invited the statues to Sanzhi in October of the eighth year of the Republic of China to raise funds for the construction of Fucheng palace. Up to now, Fucheng palace has become the belief center of the people in Sanzhi District, with a large number of believers. Devout people from all over the province often form pilgrimage groups to pay homage. Every year, on May 7 of the lunar calendar, the people in Sanzhi district hold a grand temple fair.
At present, the front hall still retains the original style of the temple, while the rest of the rear hall has been reconstructed, but it still has historical value.
