The project is located in Longzhouwan, Banan District, Chongqing, close to xuetangwan station of rail transit line 3. With a total investment of 800 million yuan and an area of 310 mu, the project is divided into two major theme parks: Ocean Park and whale bay water world. It is a high-quality large-scale ocean theme park integrating food, housing, transportation, tourism, shopping and entertainment.

In February 2020, in order to pay tribute to the medical workers struggling in the front line of anti epidemic, Chongqing Hanhai Ocean Park implemented a free visit policy for all medical workers from the date of resumption of operation to December 31, 2020.

It is a high-quality large-scale ocean theme park integrating food, housing, transportation, tourism, shopping and entertainment. The first phase of Ocean Park will open rainforest Pavilion and ocean Pavilion, with a visiting area of 23000 square meters, displaying hundreds of biological species, totaling more than 50000. The pavilion includes 12 distinctive theme exhibition areas, including "360 ° panoramic coral reef", "Galaxy jellyfish Pavilion", "Pandora Plaza" and "sea temple".

The second phase of the ocean park, which is still under planning, is expected to be completed in 2018. After the completion of the project, Chongqing Hanhai Ocean Park will focus on animal exhibition, parent-child experience, ocean science popularization and interactive performance, covering tourism, leisure, parent-child vacation and other entertainment modes.

Cetacean bay water world will introduce more than 16 water amusement facilities from abroad, and launch "Dolphin accompanying Tour", "coral reef snorkeling experience" and "submarine drifting River" for the first time in China. Tropical rain forest

The secret of rainforest

Forgotten in a secluded place deep in the rainforest, plants grow wantonly among jagged rocks or rotten trees, and fish shuttle among them, forming a vibrant natural element landscape, showing a variety of biological and environmental cycle evolution and self-sufficient primary ecosystem.

Chinese sturgeon Museum

The protection of fish resources in the Yangtze River Basin has a long way to go. In the display window of the Chinese sturgeon pond, the unique fishes in the two river basins, such as sturgeon and Myxocyprinus, are displayed, so as to get a close understanding of rare species and advocate the protection of aquatic wildlife in the two river basins.
