Changxing Island Country Park

Changxing island country park is located at 199 qiugan Road, east of Fenghuang Road, Changxing Island, Chongming City, Shanghai. It was officially opened to the public at the end of 2016, with a planning area of 29.8 square kilometers, almost one fifth of the total area of Changxing Island. The first phase covers an area of 5.56 square kilometers, roughly equivalent to 4.5 Century Park, with G40 Shanghai Shaanxi Expressway in the East, Panyuan road in the south, Fenghuang road in the west, and Shanghai Qingcao road in the north Sand reservoir.

In February 2020, Changxing Island Country Park implemented a free admission policy for medical workers in the whole country (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) from the restoration of the park to December 31, 2020.

Park Area

Changxing island country park is divided into five areas: comprehensive service area, cultural movement area, farming experience area, orange garden style area and forest conservation area. There are also dreamlike flower sea, Huaxi lake, farm garden, under forest barbecue, flower base of Shanghai Botanical Garden, coral hall and ancient stone wood hall, so that you can enjoy leisure and entertainment. In 2018, it was selected as the first batch of 50 good places for citizens in the city.

Free policy

In February 2020, in order to express gratitude for the dedication of medical workers across the country, a free admission policy will be implemented for medical workers across the country (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) from the resumption of the park to December 31, 2020. All medical workers in China (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) can enter the park free of charge with their own valid certificates (licensed doctor certificate, licensed pharmacist certificate, nurse certificate and other qualification certificates related to medical work).
