Huangshantou National Forest Park
Huangshantou National Forest Park is located in the border of Hunan and Hubei provinces, with Jingzhou Ancient City in the north and Dongting Lake National key scenic spot in the south. It is a scenic spot integrating natural scenery and cultural landscape. Because "all the earth and stone are yellow, so it's named.".
Huangshantou National Forest Park covers a total area of 100 square kilometers, and the central scenic area covers an area of 50 square kilometers. There are 32 peaks, the main peak is 286 meters above sea level. There are Zhongji temple, Xiegong tomb, Nanchan temple, Yunxiao palace, Jingjiang Flood Diversion Sluice scenic spots; huangshantou is also one of the birthplaces of Jingchu ancient culture, including primitive society village sites, Warring States sites, Jin and Tang ancient tombs and other historic sites.

Scenic spots
Nanzen-ji Temple
Located at the south foot of the main peak at the top of Huangshan Mountain, Nanchan temple was built in the Tang Dynasty. The writer Liu Zongyuan inscribed a plaque on the temple.
Zhongji Temple
Zhongji temple is located at the main peak of Huangshan Mountain. It was first built in the Western Jin Dynasty and was called "Puji Temple" in the time. It was renamed "Zhongji Temple" in the northern and Southern Dynasties. In 1112 A.D., after Emperor Huizong of song granted Duke Xie, who loved the people like a son, as "Zhongji immortal", the "Zhongji Temple" was expanded into 24 rooms.
Jingjiang South Gate
Jingjiang South sluice is the largest water conservancy project in China at the beginning of new China. It is 360 meters long, 32 holes in total, 9 meters in net width for each hole, 8.5 meters in height, 32 meters in bottom elevation and 43 meters in top elevation. It adopts reinforced concrete bottom plate, hollow buttress wall, dam type pier, radial steel plate gate and electric winch for opening and closing.

Bailongjing
Bailong well is located in the south of chongfengyu. The well water is clear and the drought is not dry. Around Qingming Festival every year, Bailong flies to Huangshan Mountain to fight against the wind and rain.
Development and construction
In 1991, huangshantou Forest Park was established.
In July 1992, it was approved by the Ministry of forestry as one of the first batch of national forest parks.
In 2005, it was listed as a provincial key town (Forest Park Management Bureau and huangshantou town are one institution, with two brands).
In 2006, the huangshantou National Forest Park Management Bureau (deputy department level) was established in Anxiang County, Hunan Province.
In 2009, huangshantou tourism development project was listed in Hunan Provincial 251 project and municipal major project.
Traffic information
① Starting from Changsha, go to Chang'an Expressway and get off at the exit of Deshan; ② enter Changde and get on S306 from Liuyehu bus station to Anxiang County; ③ enter Anxiang and take Huang'an highway to huangshantou National Forest Park.
