Yuanyang Terrace

The famous Yuanyang terrace is a masterpiece left by Hani people from generation to generation. The terraces cultivated by Hani people in Yuanyang changed with the changes of mountains and topography. The large terraces with gentle slopes were cultivated in large fields, the small terraces with steep slopes were cultivated in small fields, and even the stone gap under the ridge beside the gully was cultivated. Therefore, the large terraces were several mu, the small terraces were only dustpan, and there were often thousands of Mu on one slope. On June 22, 2013, at the 37th World Heritage conference, Hani terrace was successfully listed in the world heritage list, becoming the 45th World Heritage in China, making China the second largest World Heritage country after Spain, only next to Italy.

Yuanyang terrace, located in the south of Ailao Mountain in Yuanyang County, Yunnan Province, is a masterpiece left by Hani people for generations. Honghe Hani terraced field is a miracle of terraced farming civilization created by Hani people of all ethnic groups by taking advantage of the special geographical climate. Located in the south of Yunnan, Honghe Hani terraces are distributed in Yuanyang, Honghe, Jinping and Luchun counties of Honghe Prefecture, with a total area of about 1 million mu. Yuanyang County alone has 170000 Mu terraces. Yuanyang terrace is a landscape painting of Hani people for more than 1300 years. Qingkou Folk Village

Qingkou Hani folk village is located in Yuanyang terrace National Wetland Park and the core area of world cultural heritage declaration, 8000 meters away from the old county (Xinjie town). It maintains a complete ecosystem of "forest, water system, Shanzhai, terraced fields", Hani's folk customs, distinctive national cultural characteristics, unique production and life style, and the integration of terraced fields and the ancient "mushroom house". It is a model of rational use of natural resources for agricultural development.

Tiger mouth terrace

Laohuzui Terrace Scenic Area is located in Yuanyang terrace National Wetland Park and the core area of the world cultural heritage declaration. It is 20 kilometers away from the old county (Xinjie town). There are more than 850 hectares of magnificent terraces here, with various forms and great momentum. When the winter and spring are sunny, the terraces will show the patterns of two galloping horses and hidden dragons and crouching tigers. It is also like a thousand year old turtle lying at the bottom of the valley, as if telling people the historical vicissitudes of Hani ancestors' terracing. This is the most precipitous and magnificent terrace of Yuanyang mountain, which can be called the highest model of "earth sculpture".

This unique landscape was listed by French newspapers as one of the world's seven newly discovered cultural landscapes in 1993. In March 1993, Mr. Yang Lamar, a famous producer, and his fiancee visited the scene and held a wedding. He also shot the scenery film sculpture of the earth, which was released at home and abroad.

Duoyishu terrace

Duoyishu Terrace Scenic Spot is located in Yuanyang terrace National Wetland Park and the core area of world cultural heritage declaration. It is 23 kilometers away from the old county (Xinjie town). It is located at an altitude of 1900 meters. There are 650 hectares of terraces distributed on the 25 ° to 50 ° slopes of duoyishu, Aichun, dawazhai, etc., which are like bays. It is the best scenic spot for viewing and photographing cloud sea terraces, sunrise and Shanzhai. The famous scenery film "Yunnan story" is based on the terraced fields and villages.

Bada terrace

Bada Terrace Scenic Area is located in Yuanyang terrace National Wetland Park and the core area of world cultural heritage declaration. It is 14km away from the old county (Xinjie town). There are more than 950 hectares of magnificent terraces here.

Bada terraces are spectacular, beautiful lines and strong three-dimensional. From the malizhai River, which is 800 meters above sea level, thousands of terraces stretch to the top of the mountain, which is 2000 meters above sea level. Hani villages, such as malizhai, Bada, shangmadian and quanfuzhuang, are lifted into the sea of clouds. The 3700 terraces are like a ladder to the sky. Terraces are golden and silver at sunset. They are the best scenic spots for viewing and photographing terraces, sunsets and mountain villages.

Xinjie scenic spot

Xinjie scenic spot is located 30 kilometers south of the county and 303 kilometers away from the provincial capital Kunming.

Main attractions: Yunwu Mountain City, Qingkou folk village, longshuba sunset terrace, tuguozhai sunrise terrace, jinzhuzhai idyllic scenery, bajiaoling mountain Tusi Wan Shi Mo fortification, Donggualin martyrs cemetery.

The main contents and features of the scenic spot are as follows: it mainly focuses on natural landscape and cultural landscape, with the blending of Hani, Yi, Han and Dai nationalities, and the multi-cultural areas with their own characteristics. It is a collection and distribution center for people of all ethnic groups to enjoy the sea of clouds and terraces.

Xinjie was originally the political, economic and cultural center of Yuanyang County. After the relocation of the county in 1991, it was under the jurisdiction of Xinjie town. Malizhai scenic spot

Malizhai scenic spot is located 43 km south of the county and 15 km east of Xinjie.

Main attractions: quanfuzhuang terraces, Bada terraces, malizhai terraces, shangmadian terraces and villages.

The main contents and features of the scenic spot are Hani ethnic customs, humanities and natural landscape. There are 17 natural villages, 1910 households, 10244 people, 8737 Mu terraces, all of which are Hani nationality. It is not only a place to watch the Hani terraces, sea of clouds, Hani architecture and other scenery, but also a central area to understand, study and experience Hani culture.

The terraces in malizhai scenic area are large, spectacular, beautiful lines and strong three-dimensional. From the malizhai River, which is 1100 meters above sea level, thousands of terraced fields stretch to the top of the mountain, which is 2000 meters above sea level. Hani villages, such as malizhai, Bada, shangmadian and quanfuzhuang, are lifted into the sea of clouds. Standing in malizhai tea factory to view terraces, nearly ten thousand mu terraces are like a sea of slopes, sparkling, and the scenery is very spectacular. After four o'clock in the afternoon, the vast sea of slopes gradually turns pink and red with the setting sun. Then it turns pink and white. It's a place to watch and photograph terraces changing with time.

Duoyishu scenic spot

Duoyishu scenic spot is located 55 km to the east of the county and 25 km to the east of Xinjie.

Main attractions: huangcaoling terraced view of the sun, Pugao Laozhai terraced view, duoyishu terraced view, residential view, zongwa Tusi Zhangzhai yamen, provincial nature reserve.

Main features and contents of the scenic spot: the scenic spot is mainly composed of five Hani villages and four Yi villages, including more than 6000 mu terraced fields, such as Ai Village and dawazhe village, showing the beautiful scenery of cloud sea, terraced fields and mountain villages, the multi culture of Hani and Yi people, and more than 16000 hectares of wild primeval forest and national first and second level protection in the provincial nature reserve Animals and plants.
