Apricot blossom spring Pavilion is one of the 40 sceneries of Yuanmingyuan.

Apricot blossom spring hall was known as apricot blossom village in Yongzheng period. It was built with the artistic conception in the poem Qingming by Du Mu, a poet of Tang Dynasty, to express a kind of simple pastoral taste.

Cultural relic landscape

Located in the northwest of Jiuzhou scenic spot, xinghuachun Pavilion is the highest point of the scenic spot, imitating Kunlun Mountain in Northwest China. In the year of Kangxi, Yin Zhen called it "vegetable garden". In the fourth year of Yongzheng, it was changed to its original name. It covers an area of 22000 square meters, with a construction area of 1200 square meters. It is a garden landscape with rural scenes as the theme.

The architectural layout of the whole scenery group is random, with low houses, sparse fences, paper windows and wooden couch. According to different seasons, the vegetable garden in front of the museum grows all kinds of melons, fruits and vegetables, which has a strong pastoral flavor. The spring palace of apricot blossom in its heyday, when spring comes, the apricot blossom is brilliant. At this time, the emperor always comes here to enjoy the apricot blossom while tasting the fine wine.

In the Yongzheng period, the building still had the flavor of a peasant family, but in the Qianlong period, it had a completely different appearance. There are five pavilions in the main hall (Chunyu Pavilion), apricot blossom spring pavilion with double eaves, Zhai, Land Temple and even Chengguan. The artistic conception of the garden was completely based on the scenery of the villa in Qianlong's imagination.

The art of piling mountains in xinghuachun Pavilion is very high, which has the same artistic value as the piling mountains in kouran Dagong and Shizilin. In the northeast, there are rocks and earth mountains, mainly earth mountains, with mountain roads and Chengguan. One of the peaks surrounding the main building is the Taihu stone mound. At the junction with the open and spacious, there are bluestones stacked and decorated with caves and pavilions. 　

Current situation of cultural relics

In 1860, the British and French allied forces evaded the disaster when they burned the Old Summer Palace. In 1900, the Eight Allied forces invaded China and were completely destroyed. Today, there are only relics left.

Gall bottle: it has a long neck and a big abdomen, and is shaped like a hanging gall, which is called gall bottle. Yang Lili's poem says: "gall like silver vase, jade like plum."

For Liang sentence: it is said that Weiyang official used apricot wood for Liang. It is also said that there are six apricot flowers and five colors in Tiantai Mountain, so it is called immortal apricot. This sentence is also about cutting apricot flowers.

Wine sentence: also for cutting apricot flower. It is said that there are two apricot trees in Mou Duanming garden. Beside the pavilion, it is called "double apricot Pavilion". There is a big river outside the garden, so it is also called "Nanyi Xiaoyin".
