Jing'an Temple

According to the old county annals, it was built in the third year of Liang Datong in the Southern Dynasty (the first year of zhongdatong, 529). It is the earliest Buddhist temple in Lianjiang county. It is said that there are six overlapping nine seats. It was rebuilt in the sixth year of Xiantong (865). Brothers Huang Zhi and Huang Ben of Song Dynasty donated to build Jingge, while Zheng Li built temples.

Jing'an Temple in Lianjiang, Fujian

Its original name was "Zhiyuan". It is located by feifeng bridge in the south of toubao City, Lianjiang county, Fujian Province.

It is said that there are six overlapping nine seats. It was rebuilt in the sixth year of Xiantong (865). Brothers Huang Zhi and Huang Ben of Song Dynasty donated to build Jingge, while Zheng Li built temples.

In 1675, it was rebuilt, and later it was raised by Li Chaoyuan and others.

In July 1928, it was washed down by a huge flood, leaving only manger and Zhubi.

In 1986, it was rebuilt according to the original site and then expanded. The existing building area is 559 square meters and the open space is 166 square meters. There are 4 permanent monks and nuns.

Jing'an Temple, Xichang City, Sichuan Province

It was built in the last years of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty. Its original name was "Niuwang temple". By 2006, there were only two dangerous houses that could touch the roof, the heavy rain in the sky and the heavy rain in the house.

Shi Ruyi, a former member of the CPPCC Committee of Liangshan Prefecture in Sichuan Province, head of the Xichang Buddhist Association and over 80 years old, has raised money from believers at home and abroad since 2006 to completely rebuild the shabby Niuwang temple, named "Jing'an Temple".

She traveled to Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar and other countries. From Myanmar, she was invited back to her master's three Jade Buddha statues, namely Sakyamuni Buddha, Amitabha Buddha and pharmacist Buddha.

At present, master Shi Ruyi, 86 years old, is still working hard and raising money for the construction of Jing'an Temple. He mercifully receives qualified women who wish to become monks to shave their hair and pass on the light for Buddhism.
