Bosten Lake scenic area has a vast water area and a vast expanse of smoke. Bosten Lake National Wetland Park is located in Bohu County, Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Scope: the south of Xiaohu district (from Yangshui station to Kongque bridge) is bounded by the water conveyance canal of Kongque River West pumping station, and the north is bounded by the newly built flood dike; the South and east of Great Lake District (from Yangshui station to Yinsha Beach) is bounded by the lake Ring Road, and the West and North (from Yinsha beach to Dahekou) is bounded by the 1048m water level; the Kaidu River is partly from Baolang Sumu sluice to the lake inlet. Climatic characteristics
The wetland park is located in the middle latitude of the mainland, at the south foot of Tianshan Mountain, and in the southeast of Yanqi Basin. The terrain is high in the north and south, low in the middle. It is a butterfly shaped valley. The temperature is changeable in spring, dry and rainy, dry and hot in summer, cooling rapidly in autumn, and cold in winter. The annual average sunshine hours are 2844.2 hours. The water area of the lake can adjust the temperature, the air is humid, the heat is moderate, and there is no harm of high temperature. The variation law of ground temperature and air temperature is basically the same, but the variation range of low temperature is larger than that of air temperature. The change rule of air pressure is low in summer, high in winter, low in daytime and high at night, with more northwest wind, and more southwest wind in the afternoon in spring and autumn. The annual average wind speed is 1.8 m ~ 2.8 m / s. The wetland park is far away from the ocean. The mountains in the North form a barrier to block the moist air flow of the Arctic Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean. Therefore, the precipitation is rare and the evaporation is large. The main body of the wetland park is Bosten Lake, also known as bakhachi sea, which is called bosten'er in Mongolian, bagrashkule in Uighur and Xihai in ancient times. "Yanqi king to Yuanqu City, South to Yuli hundred miles, near the sea fish." The inshore in the book and the "dunhongpu" in shuijingzhu all refer to this lake. Located in the southeast of Yanqi Basin on the south slope of Tianshan Mountain, Bohu County, bayingo state, Xinjiang, it is the largest inland freshwater lake in China. The lake is 55 kilometers long from east to west and 25 kilometers wide from north to south, covering an area of 1100 square kilometers. The lake is 1048 meters above sea level, with an average depth of 9 meters and the deepest of 17 meters.
Development and construction
On February 20, 2012, the pilot construction of Bosten Lake National Wetland Park was approved by the State Forestry Administration. On December 22, 2017, the State Forestry Administration issued the notice of the State Forestry Administration on the acceptance of the pilot National Wetland Park in 2017. Bosten Lake National Wetland Park in Xinjiang passed the acceptance and officially became the "National Wetland Park".
