Legend of "three women"

Huang Kaiguang, a wealthy businessman from Fujian Province, was hit by a typhoon near Weizhou. He lit a big candle at the bow and stern of the ship, and then yelled three times "Sanpo" in the direction of the typhoon. The storm was far away from his fleet. Huang Kaiguang believed that the reason for the disaster was that Sanpo was alive. Later, he paid money to build the Sanpo temple on Weizhou Island, and expressed his gratitude for Sanpo's great kindness. Sanpo Temple makes use of the sea cave as a natural barrier, and the temple and the cave are skillfully combined. Sanpo temple was later overwhelmed by the landslide behind it.
