Zhenxing Palace
The temple is very simple and elegant in appearance. Xiluo guangxingli is one of Xiluo qigutou (Guangxing, dinggu, puqiang Lun). In the village, Zhenxing palace is the birthplace of Xiluo Qigu. The Zhenxing society beside the temple is the martial arts school founded by a Shanshi in the past. The tomb behind the temple is the place where a Shanshi sleeps forever. Beside the road on the left side of the Zhenxing palace is the Qigu Sculpture Park, with seven powerful statues of martial artists, which seem to witness the martial arts atmosphere of Xiluo.
The legend of a Shanshi
The birthplace of Qijian martial arts is now guangxingli, Xiluo town. The founder of Xingxing martial arts school "Zhenxing society" is Liu Mingshu, whose real name is Liu Pao. Mingshan is his word, and his disciples all call him "Ashan master".
A Shanshi was born in Shao'an County, Zhangzhou Prefecture, Fujian Province. He was a fellow of the same county as Xiluo Qijian and Liao. When he was young, he practiced martial arts in Shaolin Temple and was good at Golden Eagle boxing. Later, he crossed the sea to Taiwan. At that time, the Qing Dynasty was corrupt, unable to manage Taiwan, and the public order was corrupt. As a result, the local residents were disturbed by bandits for a long time. After ah Shanshi arrived in Xiluo, he set up a martial arts school. As a result, the practice of martial arts became more and more popular, and the local youth league began to take on the task of maintaining the safety of the residents.
After the Sino Japanese War of 1894-1895, the local martial arts practitioners rose to fight against Japan and formed a rebel army. Because of the resentment of the Japanese, they dissolved the martial arts school and prohibited the local people to practice martial arts. As a result, Xiluo Qigu gradually lost its martial arts style, leaving only traces. Fortunately, there are still many local martial arts schools today, which still inherit traditional martial arts.
