Taiwan oil mine exhibition hall
Taiwan oil field exhibition hall is located in chusukeng mine, houlongxi'an, kaikuang village, Gongguan Township, Miaoli County, Taiwan. It is subordinate to the general oil exploration Office of CNPC. It is the first place to discover oil in Taiwan. It is the first oil well in Asia and the second in the world.
brief introduction
There are thematic exhibition rooms for crude oil samples, data and models of exploration and drilling production, oil and gas processing and marine exploration, which record in detail the process of oil exploration and exploitation to the end of exploration. Precious historical documents and monuments display the history and evolution of oil exploration in Taiwan.
Historical evolution
In 1981, "oil mine development exhibition hall" was set up in chusukeng mine.
In 1990, due to the increasing number of visitors and the shortage of the original space, a new museum was built several meters away and officially named "Taiwan oil mine exhibition hall".
