Jiangcun scenic spot is located in Baidi Zhenjiang village, 15 kilometers southwest of Jingde County, Anhui Province. The main scenic spots are Hui culture research, Ming and Qing Hui architecture, Jiang clan genealogy and folk customs. The whole district covers an area of 9.2 square kilometers. It has been more than 1300 years since the village was built in the late Sui and early Tang Dynasties. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the resident population was as much as 80000. At that time, it was known as "little Hangzhou". There were eight ancient ancestral halls in the village. There are still three intact ancient ancestral halls: "Jiangshi ancestral hall", "Pugong ancestral hall" and "mingxiaozi Wenchang ancestral hall", as well as several typical dwellings, such as "dark house" Many of the buildings in the village during the Ming and Qing Dynasties and the Republic of China are typical Hui style buildings with great research value. The ancient ancestral temple in the village also has historical relics such as calligraphy and painting, genealogy and so on. In 2005, Jiangcun was rated as a famous historical and cultural village in China and a national AAAA scenic spot. In 2006, Jiangcun ancient buildings were listed as the Sixth Batch of national key cultural relics protection units by the State Council.
