In the South Bank of Sanggan River, northwest of Daxinzhuang village, Youzai Town, Yanggao County, people from Ming Dynasty, such as Xie Ming, prepared to build it. Chisel the stone in the stream, pass through the stone cave below, lead the iron rope up. In 1531 of the 10th year of Jiajing period, Hou Yue, the governor, was entitled "Xiaolongmen". The bridge was destroyed in the war between the warlords of the Republic of China. There is a largest stone culvert on the south bank, which is east-west. The hole is 4.2 meters high, 8.3 meters wide and 24 meters long. A 3-meter-wide groove is cut at the top to fix the iron rope.

Luoyang Longmen Bridge
Brief introduction to the bridge
Luoyang Longmen Bridge has a total length of 303.8 meters, the length of approach roads on both sides of the bridge is 1309 meters, the clear width of deck lanes is 10 meters, and the width of sidewalks on both sides is 1.5 meters. Longmen Bridge crosses the Yi River and is located at the entrance of Longmen Grottoes. The stone arch bridge with span of 60 + 90 + 60 (m) has a width of 12.6m, an arch sagittal of 1 / 8, a thickness of 1.1m, and 6m stone arches at both ends as overpass under the bridge. The construction arch frame of Longmen Bridge is composed of temporary pier and steel truss.
Luoyang Longmen Bridge was started on March 25, 1960. On October 8, 1960, marshal Chen Yi, vice premier of the State Council, wrote the word "Longmen" for the bridge. Completed on November 20, 1962.
Marshal Chen Yi inscribes for Longmen Bridge
On October 8, 1961, Premier Zhou Enlai and vice premier Chen Yi and foreign minister accompanied king Mahendra of Nepal to Luoyang. After they visited the Longmen Grottoes, Zhou Enlai returned to Beijing on business. He used a little time before the train started to meet the responsible comrades of Luoyang. At the end of the talk, Zhou Enlai was asked to name and inscribe the stone arch bridge on the Yi River in Longmen. Zhou Enlai said with a smile, "please ask Mr. Chen to write. He writes better than me." After hearing this, Chen Yi quickly took off his sunglasses and laughed heartily: "how dare I" teach a lesson "? Please write it The two leaders humbly pushed each other. At this time, the special train's driving time is approaching, Zhou Enlai apologetically discussed and said: "otherwise, after returning to Beijing, we'll discuss and write it and send it to you, OK?" It is inconvenient for people to force, so they have to give up.
However, Zhou Enlai never forgot the entrustment of Luoyang people. In the spring of 1962, the inscriptions came in Chen Yi's handwriting. On the rice paper, there were two small characters, douda's "Longmen" and "Chen Yi's inscription". This inscription not only names the Yihe bridge, but also has local characteristics. The inscriptions are engraved with stones and inlaid on the East and West ends and both sides of the stone arch bridge.
When it came to the "Cultural Revolution", Chen Yi's inscriptions were destroyed because of the "four olds". On October 14, 1973, Zhou Enlai, who was seriously ill, accompanied foreign guests to Luoyang for a visit. When he passed the Yihe bridge, he found that there was no inscription of Chen Yi on the Yihe bridge. He immediately inquired. Relevant personnel reported the situation to Premier Zhou Enlai. Zhou Enlai said angrily, "Chen Yi is a good comrade. His inscription should meet the people of Luoyang as soon as possible." Before long, Chen Yi's inscriptions were solemnly inlaid on the Yihe River Bridge. In this way, Zhou Enlai defended the inscription after Chen Yi died.
Fuling Longmen Bridge
survey
This bridge is located in Linshi Town, Fuling District. It was the only way from Chongqing to xiachuandong. It is 174 meters long and 8.7 meters wide, all of which are made of stone, with a history of 131 years.
The bridge was built by Mr. Chen Yongen during the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty. It took 13 years. It cost more than 100000 yuan and employed more than 1000 people.
move
In 2000, Fuling banned trucks from driving on the Longmen Bridge and decided to move the bridge. On April 5, 2006, in Linshi Town, Fuling District, a 131 year old Longmen Bridge, an ancient stone bridge in the Three Gorges Reservoir area, began to be relocated. The local museum decided to move the ancient bridge to 300 meters upstream of lixiangxi river where the bridge is located. The demolition of the ancient stone bridge will be completed before the flood season of the Yangtze River in May.
After 156 meters of water storage in the Three Gorges Reservoir area, Longmen Bridge, a 130 year old stone arch bridge in Linshi ancient town of Fuling, will be submerged. In order to rescue the old bridge, Fuling museum is preparing to move it as a whole. The survey of the new bridge site has been completed, and public bidding is about to start to select a qualified "Porter" for the old bridge.
Huang Daojian, director of Fuling Museum, said that the Longmen Bridge, built during the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, has been lying across the lixiangxi estuary for 130 years. It used to be an important transportation hub in several neighboring towns. The whole bridge is 173.5 meters long, 8.75 meters wide, 24.87 meters high, with a span of 31 meters and an arch height of 13 meters. It is all made of strips of stone, with more than 20000 cubic meters of stone. Among them, the heaviest piece of stone weighs 14 tons. Each of the four piers is built with 16 layers of strips of stone. At that time, without the assistance of any mechanical equipment, such a project is unimaginable. Curator Huang said that the stone carvings of dragon, turtle, toad, stone lion and stone man on the stone bridge also show the exquisite craftsmanship of ancient craftsmen.
After the third stage of impoundment in the Three Gorges Reservoir area, the ancient bridge will be submerged for 9 meters. The local museum decided to move it as a whole. After careful measurement, only zhoujiahe ditch, 300 meters away from the upstream of lixiangxi River, can completely "accept" it. It is reported that the Longmen Bridge will be an ancient stone arch bridge for the overall relocation of the Three Gorges Reservoir area.
Because the ancient bridge is 130 years old, and the bridge body has collapsed and damaged, the selection of "porters" is particularly strict. It is required that every stone should be labeled when it is moved, and then be "seated according to the number" when it is rebuilt, so as to restore the original style of the ancient bridge.
