Miaofe temple is located in luzu temple, Donghe District, Baotou city. It is the most famous ancient temple of Han Buddhism in Inner Mongolia. It was built by master Xuzhou in the last year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty and expanded in 1866. Miaofe temple, also known as "luzu Temple", is the leading scenic spot of Beiliang Tourism Development Zone in Donghe District. It is surrounded by Christian Church, Catholic Church, Islamic church and other religious places, occupying an excellent geomantic treasure land. Miaofe temple has Mountain Gate (Tianwang Hall), luzu hall, Daxiong hall, Guanyin hall, Gongde hall, dizang hall, zushi hall, Chan hall and Qianfo hall. Luzu hall is a building left over from the Qing Dynasty. Among the many halls, the most distinctive one is the thousand Buddha Hall in the South courtyard. The hall is magnificent, ethereal and solemn. There are nearly a thousand Buddha statues in the hall, which can be called a unique one. There are many pilgrims here. Ancient temples and today's commercial districts coexist harmoniously.

Miaofe temple, also known as "luzu Temple", was built in 1853. Located in Beiliang, Donghe District, it is the largest Han Buddhist temple in western Inner Mongolia. It covers an area of 41144.7 square meters and a construction area of 10000 square meters. According to the center line, the main buildings are Mountain Gate, Tianwang hall, luzu hall and Daxiong Hall (the auxiliary hall is Guanyin hall, dizang hall and Zushi Hall). The north side of Tianwang hall is Yuhuang hall, the south side is Chenghuang hall, the south side is nianfo hall, and the north side is 500 Luohan hall.
