Goldfish Hutong

Jinyu hutong is located in Dongcheng District of Beijing. It starts from Dongdan North Street in the East and ends at Wangfujing Street in the West. Now, on both sides of Wofo temple in Beijing, there are six or seven exquisite courtyard houses, which are available for meeting and renting. In front of the gate of Xianliang temple, it was covered with clouds, and it was very beautiful for a time.

After the Sino Japanese War of 1894-1895, Li Hongzhang was dismissed from the position of governor of Zhili for signing the Treaty of Shimonoseki and the secret treaty between China and Russia. He held the titles of bachelor and Minister of the premier's Yamen, and paid a tax in Beijing. In 1901, during the gengzi rebellion, Li Hongzhang was ordered to move north from the governor of Guangdong and Guangxi, negotiating peace treaties with ministers of various countries, and also lived here. Dong'an Market is in the south of Hutong Road, while Tianyuan soy sauce garden is in the north. The unique large roof building of soy sauce garden is unique in Beijing.
