Aoluguya Ewenki township is an ethnic township under the jurisdiction of Genhe City, Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. On August 15, 2003, it was moved from the north of Mangui town to the third workshop in the west suburb of Genhe City, which is located in the hinterland of Daxinganling, crossing the territory of S301 (Provincial Road); it is adjacent to Hexi Office of Genhe City in the East, Shangkuli sub district office of Erguna city in the west, Haolibao sub district office of Genhe City in the south, and deerbur town of Genhe City in the north, with a total area of 1767.23 square kilometers.
In 2014, there were 458 households with a total population of 1454. Among them, the population of Ewenki is 290, accounting for 19.9% of the total population; the township is composed of Ewenki, Mongolia, Han, Daur, Manchu, Hui, Russia and Oroqen.
Aoluguya Ewenki people are called Aoluguya Ewenki, Aoluguya Ewenki, Aoluguya Ewenki, and Aoluguya people because there are many poplar trees in the place where the government is located. Aoluguya Ewenki nationality township is the only pure forest nationality township in Genhe City, and also the only ethnic minority village where reindeer are raised in China.
On January 9, 2019, caribou culture was selected into the list of "hometown of Chinese folk culture and art" from 2018 to 2020.
Historical evolution
Oruguya Ewenki hunters moved from oroketun on the banks of Lena river near Lake Baikal to Erguna River Basin more than 300 years ago.
Since 1949, the party and the state have successively established economic, cultural and medical service facilities for Ewenki hunters, such as supply and marketing cooperatives, ethnic primary schools, tuberculosis prevention and control centers, clubs and animal farms, in Qiqian village on the Bank of Erguna River, where Ewenki hunters are relatively concentrated. They have created production and living conditions for Ewenki hunters to go out of the mountains and live in Qiqian (according to the statistics at that time, 136 people, 35 Households).
In 1957, according to the party's policy of regional ethnic autonomy, the Ewenki ethnic township in Qiqian was established with the approval of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. For the first time in history, Ewenki hunters had their own grassroots political power. So far, they settled in Qiqian.
In September 1960, Qiqian people's commune with Ewenki hunters as the main group was established.
In September 1965, Aoluguya Ewenki Township immigrated as a whole for the first time. 35 Hunter families moved out of Qiqian people's Commune and settled on the Bank of Aoluguya river. The township government was set up in Mangui Ewenki township.
After the establishment of Erguna Left Banner in 1966, the people's Committee of Ewenki nationality township was under the jurisdiction of Erguna Left Banner.
In 1968, the people's Committee of Mangui town was established. Mangui town and Ewenki township of Mangui were integrated into one, and they were stationed in Mangui.
In 1973, Mangui town and Aoluguya Ewenki Township were set up separately, and Aoluguya Ewenki township was set up in the northern part of Mangui administrative region. The township was moved from Mangui to Aoluguya.
In 2003, the ecological migration was carried out from the north to the south of Mangui town to the third workshop in the west suburb of Genhe City (4 kilometers away from the west suburb of Genhe City). The original administrative area of 1096 square kilometers was assigned to Mangui Town, and 1767.2 square kilometers of haolibu town was incorporated into Aoluguya Ewenki Township after the relocation as the administrative area of the new township. After soliciting the opinions of the masses of all nationalities, it is still called Aoluguya Ewenki township.
In 2006, haolibu town and deerbur town were abolished in Genhe City, and the two towns were incorporated into Aoluguya Ewenki township.
On June 15, 2011, according to the official reply of the government of the autonomous region {internal affairs Zi (2011) No. 144}, deerbur town was restored, and Aoluguya Ewenki township was no longer under the jurisdiction of deerbur town.

Mengkuyi village is the seat of Ao township government and the pilot village of new socialist countryside construction in Genhe City.

Aoluguya Ewenki township was moved from the north and south of Mangui town to the third workshop in the west suburb of Genhe City on August 15, 2003. It is located at the West foot of the north section of Daxing'an Mountains. Its geographical coordinates are 121 ° 14 ′ 25 ″ ~ 120 ° 42 ′ 35 ″ e, 50 ° 24 ′ 50 ″ ~ 51 ° 02 ′ 20 ″ n. It is adjacent to Hexi sub district office of Genhe City in the East, Haolibao sub district office in the south, Shangkuli sub district office of Erguna city in the west, derbuir town and Jinhe town in the north, and national highway S301 runs through Ao Township, which is the main traffic connecting the surrounding areas.

The total area of Aoluguya Ewenki township is 1767.23 square kilometers, accounting for 8.83% of the total area of Genhe City, including 26538 mu of cultivated land and 251277.23 ha of forest land.
The total area of natural grassland and forest edge grassland for the development of animal husbandry is 667 hectares. The township government covers an area of 5 square kilometers.

It is northwest southeast, with high terrain in Northwest and low terrain in southeast, and dense forest. The extreme maximum temperature over the years is 35 ℃, the extreme minimum temperature is - 49.6 ℃, and the annual accumulated temperature is between 1400 ℃ and 1800 ℃. The average annual precipitation is about 400-600 mm, and the seasonal distribution is uneven. The rainfall is mainly concentrated in June to August. The frost free period is 40-80 days. The maximum wind speed is 6-14m / s. The final frost is late and the first frost is early. The first frost begins in early September and the late frost ends in early June.
Population nationality
The scale of ecological migration in Aoluguya township is 498 people and 160 households. After the relocation, 62 Ewenki hunters were relocated to Xinxiang, and the other 98 residents moved to the river town and other towns around the village. But the registered residence was still in Ao township. The new resettlement site of Ao Township receives the residents of the former three workshops as well as the residents of murui farm, GALAGA farm and Yuliang farm located in the boundary of Erguna city.
Aoluguya Ewenki township has 458 households with a population of 1454. Among them, there are 271 Ewenki, 768 Han and 415 other ethnic groups, including eight ethnic minorities, namely Manchu, Mongolian, Hui, Russian, Daur, Oroqen, Korean and Li. The present population of Aoluguya Ewenki township is 692 males and 762 females. The age composition of the population is as follows: 0-10 years old: 100 persons; 10-14 years old: 141 persons; 14-18 years old: 48 persons; 18-49 years old: 790 persons; 49-59 years old: 207 persons; and over 60 years old: 168 persons.
There are 352 adults without jobs. The main income of the adults without jobs are the original residents of Aoxiang new site. The main income is to rent farm land to grow potatoes, family farming, forest farm seasonal workers and migrant workers. There are 438 adults with jobs. They are all engaged in civil servants, employees of institutions such as culture, education and health, registered workers of enterprises, and fixed workers (including retirees) of private enterprises. Among them, there are 19 township civil servants, 9 government staff and 6 government logistics staff; 85 teachers in Ethnic Primary Schools; 3 staff in cultural centers; 21 medical staff in health centers; 84 enterprise management and registered employees; 18 employees in 11 commercial and hunting shops; 193 employees in agriculture and animal husbandry.

Since the ecological migration in August 2013, the infrastructure of Ao township has been greatly improved, and the appearance of the township has changed greatly. The total construction area of the new site is more than 220000 square meters. It is planned to build 31 Ewenki hunting houses and 62 households, with toilets, heating and running water. All of them are provided with central heating and water supply. The popularization rate of water supply and heat supply of 62 Ewenki dwellings reaches 100% respectively. 48 deer houses, 350 square meters each, 800 square meters of office building, 1229 square meters of reindeer Culture Museum, and 100% of the total; 560 square meters of deer products processing plant and 2400 meters of oil pipeline will be built.
