Gate of nature is located in Qingao bay at the east end of Nan'ao Island. It is the 11th Tropic of cancer landmark tower built in China so far. When the sun is directly on the Tropic of cancer, the shadow will pass through the central tube of the upper sphere and project to the center of the platform. It is one of the new attractions in Nan'ao. This is the unique scenery of China on the Tropic of cancer, which will play an important role in the world's astronomy and geography research. The construction of the Tropic of cancer symbol in qing'ao Bay has added a new member to the Tropic of cancer symbol family. It is also another measure for human beings to have a deeper understanding of the Tropic of cancer and the earth.

content validity
This book selects the most wonderful chapters from the collection of 25 natural prose of Burroughs, so that readers can appreciate the plain, modest, fresh and beautiful prose style of Burroughs. Read quietly as you can feel the fragrance of flowers. From the "doors of nature" opened by Burroughs, you will enter the vast and magical classroom of nature.
Just like an old farmer who loves the soil under his feet, Burroughs loves the flowers, birds, plants and trees around him. His love for nature is natural like breathing, without any exaggeration and decoration, or any acid and affectation. He has fully integrated himself into the world full of vitality - the hermit thrush and Robin singing in the forest, the trilling grass that first blooms white flowers in early spring, the beech forest shaded in summer, the fox's nest, the cunning of weasels, the collective dance of grasshoppers and earthworms, and bees

About the author
John Burroughs (1837-1921) is a pioneer of American natural literature, known as "sage of American countryside", "guide to nature" and "spokesman of bird kingdom". Many people, including President Theodore Roosevelt, grew up reading his books and followed his footprints to nature. Burroughs spent most of his life in the countryside on the banks of the Hudson River, where he lived a dual life of a farmer and a writer, taking studying and describing nature as his duty. The greatest characteristic of his creation is to weaken himself, to feel, observe and describe nature in a more innocent way, to guide people to read the great book of nature, and to be a loyal student of nature. His famous works include waking forest, sunshine in winter, birds and poets, the way of nature, birds and trees, leaves and vines, and under the maple.
