Qiansimen Jialing River bridge crosses Cangbai road beside Hongya cave in Yuzhong District in the south, crosses Jialing River, and connects jiangbeicheng Street South Road in Jiangbei District in the north. It is also a river crossing bridge of Metro Line 6. It has the same shuttle shaped pylon and stay cable as dongshuimen bridge on the Yangtze River, and is called "Chongqing Liangjiang bridge".

Qiansimen Jialing River Bridge was built on December 29, 2009;
The closure was completed in November 2013 and passed the acceptance on June 24, 2014;
It was put into operation on April 29, 2015.
Qiansimen Jialing River Bridge starts from Cangbai road in the south, crosses Jialing River Waterway in the north and reaches jiangbeicheng Street South Road in the north. The total length of the line is 1647m, and the total length of the main bridge is 720m. The upper deck is a two-way four lane urban expressway with a design speed of 40km / h. the lower deck is a double track urban traffic.
Construction process
On December 29, 2009, the construction of qiansimen Jialing River Bridge started.
On January 2, 2013, the tower of qiansimen Jialing River Bridge was capped; on July 21, 2013, the stay cables of qiansimen Jialing River Bridge were installed;

On April 2, 2015, ramp A and ramp B on Yuzhong side of qiansimen Jialing River Bridge passed the acceptance;
On the 29th of the same month, qiansimen Jialing River Bridge was officially opened to traffic.
Bridge location
Qiansimen Jialing bridge is located in the estuary of Jialing River, Jinsha Qitan section downstream of Zengjiayan bend, 0.8km away from Chaotianmen estuary. The bridge starts from Yuzhong District in the south, crosses Jialing River between Hongyadong of Cangbai road and nanguolijing, and ends at the intersection of South Road and Jinsha Road of jiangbeicheng street in Jiangbei District in the north. It is connected with pale road of Yuzhong District through ramp A and B, including North approach bridge and ramp C and D. the North approach bridge is connected with South Road of jiangbeicheng street through crossing Jinsha.

The classical architecture and modern bridge reflect each other, meeting people's new needs and experience when crossing the bridge, realizing the integration of ancient and modern.

The upper layer of qiansimen Jialing bridge is a two-way four lane urban expressway, and the lower layer is a double track urban rail transit; the main bridge adopts a four span continuous single tower single cable plane Partial Cable-stayed steel truss bridge structure, and the main truss adopts a triangle truss type with convenient height, and is arranged in equal sections. The cable tower adopts spatial curved surface structure, the outer contour is shaped like a shuttle, the tower column adopts single box and single room structure, and the tower pier adopts single box and multi room structure. The main truss members of the main truss are welded box sections, and all adopt integral joints. The upper deck of the bridge adopts orthotropic steel deck, stiffened by plate ribs, and diaphragm beams are set along the longitudinal direction of the bridge; the lower deck also adopts orthotropic steel deck, stiffened by plate ribs, and diaphragm beams are set every 4 meters in the longitudinal direction, and two groups of light rail longitudinal beams are set in the transverse direction, and each group of light rail longitudinal beams is composed of two longitudinal beams. The main bridge adopts the span arrangement of "88m + 312m + 240m + 80m", the total length of the beam is 720m, the truss width is 15m, the length of the joints is 16m, the total length of the bridge is 45 joints; there are two floors, the lower floor is 13m wide, the length is 720m, it is double track urban rail transit, the upper floor is 24-36.999m wide, the length is 878m, it is two-way four lane, and there are 2.47m sidewalks on both sides. The height of cable tower is 182 meters, the wall thickness of middle and upper tower columns is 1.0 meters, and the wall thickness of lower tower columns is 2.0 meters. C50 concrete is used. The section width of the lower chord of the main truss is 1200 mm and the height is 1600 mm; the section width of the upper chord and web member is 1200 mm and the height is 1200 mm; the maximum thickness of the main truss gusset plate is 70 mm and the maximum specification is 5579x3200 mm; the upper anchor spacing of the stay cable is 3.4 m and the lower anchor spacing is 16 m. There are 20 stay cables in the whole bridge, the specifications of the cable body are pe6-139 and the control cable force is 14500 kn.

The main tower of qiansimen bridge is equipped with elevators, which can follow the arc of the main tower and stop at any position in the tower. Lighting facilities
As of April 3, 2015, the qiansimen Jialing River Bridge has passed the completion acceptance, and the bridge has also entered the trial lighting stage. The steel truss beam of the bridge body is divided into two parts to light up: the upper chord and the lower chord use bright point light source, one by one in close view, and two light bands in far view, highlighting the outline of the bridge, while the abdominal member uses soft projection light to set off the orange of the steel truss beam, forming a water drop shape From a distance, it looks like a drop of water floating on the river.

Fare system
Since July 1, 2002, Chongqing Municipality has promulgated the administrative measures for the collection of road and bridge tolls in the main urban area of Chongqing Municipality, and started to implement the system of annual and sub tolls for road and bridge tolls. Roads, bridges and tunnels in the main urban area are included in the scope of annual and sub tolls for road and bridge tolls, and the one-stop parking charge for one bridge is cancelled.
The motor vehicles registered in the main urban area of Chongqing, or the motor vehicles whose owner's residence is in the main urban area, shall pay the annual road and Bridge toll at one time according to the regulations.
On November 23, 2017, Chongqing Municipal People's government issued a notice that the toll of roads and bridges in the main urban area will be cancelled from 0:00 on January 1, 2018, including qiansimen Jialing River Bridge.
Traffic matters
During the May Day holiday in 2018, Jiangbei police adopted the control measures of "remote diversion and near end diversion", and conducted remote traffic flow control and diversion in qiansimen Jialing River Bridge in jiangbeizui section and qiansimen Jialing River Bridge in Haier section, so as to guide drivers to bypass qiansimen bridge to Yuzhong District through other routes.
From 18:00 on October 2, 2018, traffic control will be implemented on qiansimen Jialing River Bridge. Vehicles passing through the bridge are only allowed to leave Yuzhong District and not allowed to enter Yuzhong District.
In the case of too many tourists, qiansimen Jialing River Bridge will be closed to allow tourists to cross the bridge first.
