Historical evolution

Baicheng Teachers College

In 1958, Baicheng normal college was founded.

In 1962, Baicheng normal college was abolished and merged into Siping normal college, and Baicheng normal school was built in some campuses.

In 1981, Baicheng normal school was upgraded to Baicheng normal college.

In 1994, Baicheng normal college was renamed Baicheng normal college.

In 1999, Baicheng Education College, Baicheng art kindergarten normal school and Tongyu normal school were merged into Baicheng normal college. They joined Siping normal college to recruit undergraduates and began to carry out undergraduate education.

In August 2000, Baicheng forestry school was merged into Baicheng normal college.
