Mr. Lao She's former residence in Qingdao is now open as "Lao She's Former Residence Memorial" and "Camel Xiangzi Museum", China's first memorial named after his works. "Camel Xiangzi Memorial" is the creation of Mr. Lao She's son Shu Yi. In Mr. Shu Yi's letter to Qingdao, it is mentioned that there is a "Katyusha Memorial" in Russia, which is named after songs. It is very good and famous.
At the intersection of Huangxian road and Daxue Road, there is no sign of the memorial hall. When I asked a question, the manager of the Memorial Hall said that many people have mentioned this idea. However, because the memorial hall of Mr. Lao She is relatively small, it is difficult for us to receive a large number of tourists. This is for the tourists who really love literature and Mr. Lao She to explore the winding path, so there is no sign outside.
This literary master can not only write and write, but also use a knife and a gun. In the 1930s, he moved from Jinan to Qingdao. When he was tired of writing, he practiced his boxing. The poet Zang Ke's family came to Lao She's house to visit him. When he came in, he was startled. The walls were covered with knives, guns, sticks, sticks and halberds. Zang Kejia asked, what happened? Lao She said, "I'm exercising." In 1964, Lao She led a group of Chinese writers to visit Japan. A Japanese youth heard that Lao She was a martial arts practitioner and asked him for advice. Lao She, 65, refused politely and could only take the call. A few rounds later, the young man fell to the ground, and everyone was surprised. I didn't expect that the literati Lao She who was leaning on crutches had such strength.
In the memorial hall of Mr. Lao She, weapons such as knives, spears, swords and sticks used by Mr. Lao She in his martial arts practice are also placed in the writing room and hallway hall, which reveals another aspect of Mr. Lao She's little-known literary master.
The second floor of Mr. Lao She's memorial hall is a real private teahouse for Lao She. It is not open to the outside world. It only receives international friends and leaders at all levels.
