Zen Temple scenic spot
The natural scenic spot of Chan Lin Temple is located in houjiazhai Township, Zunhua City, Hebei Province. It covers an area of one square kilometer. It is famous for four ancient times: ancient mountain Wufeng mountain, ancient tree ginkgo, ancient temple Chan Lin Temple and ancient city great wall.
The natural scenic spot of Chan Lin Temple is located in houjiazhai Township, Zunhua City, Hebei Province. It is adjacent to the Great Wall in the north, Zunhua City in the south, Jiufeng Mountain in the East and Dongling of Qing Dynasty in the west, with a total area of one square kilometer.
The scenic spot is famous for its four antiquities
Ancient mountain Wufeng mountain. According to the annals of Zunhua Prefecture, there are five peaks in the mountain. The middle peak stands out of the cloud, and the four peaks stand on the side, like an arch. What a wonder!
Ginkgo biloba, an ancient tree. There is a local saying: "first there is the Zen forest, then there is the border (border: refers to the border, both the Great Wall), ginkgo is still in front of the Zen forest". According to the research, there are 13 ginkgo trees (one male and twelve female) growing around the ancient temple of Chan Lin, which were planted in the Qin Dynasty and were more than 2000 years old. It is still leafy and fruity.
Ancient temple -- Chan Lin Temple. Yunchang temple, formerly known as Yunchang temple, was founded in the year of wukao. Later, it was rebuilt in the Eastern Jin Dynasty and rebuilt in the Liao Dynasty. It was renamed Chanlin Temple more than 1700 years ago. The temple was destroyed during the Anti Japanese War and rebuilt in 2000.
Ancient city -- the Great Wall. The scenic spot of Chan Lin Temple is located in the north of Yanshan mountain. The Great Wall is located on the top of the mountains. This section of the Great Wall was built in the Northern Qi Dynasty and rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty
