Zhongxing Hall

Located in Bajia village, Gutian Town, Shanghang County, Zhongxing hall was built in the 10th year of Jiaqing period (1805). It is a Wai long building with one main building and three horizontal buildings. In December 1929, Mao Zedong, Zhu De and Chen Yi led the Fourth Red Army into Gutian, and the headquarters of the Fourth Red Army was set up in Zhongxing hall. Comrade Zhu De lives in the left wing of the back hall.

After the Fourth Red Army entered Gutian, Mao Zedong, Zhu De, Chen Yi and others held a joint meeting of party representatives at all levels here, calling on the comrades present to work together to eliminate all kinds of non proletarian consciousness. After more than 10 days of study and discussion, the deputies deepened their understanding of various wrong ideas of the non proletariat in the party and put forward corrective measures.
