Historical evolution

On May 8, 2004, with the approval of the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China, Zhuhai College of Beijing University of technology was officially established.

In 2005, the school passed the special inspection of the Ministry of education.

In December 2011, all the new Bachelor's degree awarding units and specialties of the university successfully passed the evaluation in 2011.

In 2012, the school of finance was established on the basis of accounting and financial management in the school of business, and the school of mathematics, physics and civil engineering was transformed from the "Teaching Department of basic mathematics and physics" to the "Teaching Department of basic mathematics and physics".

In 2013, the school successfully passed the teaching state assessment. On May 15, the construction project of Zhuhai Campus of Beijing University of technology was launched. In September, the school engineering training center was put into use.

In October 2014, Zhuhai College of Beijing University of technology held a celebration party for its 10th anniversary.

On December 8, 2015, the school entrepreneurship workshop was officially recognized as a municipal entrepreneurship incubation base by Zhuhai human resources and social security department.

On October 25, 2016, the University was selected as one of the first batch of undergraduate transformation Pilot Universities in Guangdong Province.

In September 2017, Zhuhai College of Beijing University of technology will set up a new "honorary College" to cultivate high-quality talents with noble character and international vision.

Student achievement

On November 25, 2016, the college team's work "crazy game community" won the first and third prizes in the fourth national college students' digital media technology works and creative competition in 2016.

 

On November 12, 2016, in the Sixth China educational robot competition, the school of industrial automation of our college sent five teams to participate in the competition of intelligent handling, handling and palletizing, robot creative design and production, and won two first prizes and three second prizes.

On April 17, 2016, the school's 134 innovation team won the first prize in the Seventh National College Students' Mechanical Innovation Design Competition (2016) and the Ninth National College Students' engineering technology innovation design competition.

Scientific research achievements

In January 2017, four projects, including statistical monitoring research on the development of education in Guangdong, sponsored and supported by the University, were approved to be concluded after expert evaluation. Among them, three projects won the first, second and third prizes respectively in the final evaluation of the scientific research program of Education Statistics in Guangdong Province in 2016.

 

As of November 2016, the university has been approved 21 provincial and ministerial level scientific research projects and 53 municipal level scientific research projects, including 2 provincial science and technology projects of Guangdong Province, 1 Natural Science Foundation Project of Guangdong Province and 1 social science planning project of Social Science Department of Ministry of education.
