Dahan village is a village under the jurisdiction of donghuangshui Town, Yangqu County, Taiyuan city. It is located 2.5km north of the government residence of donghuangshui Town, 10km away from the county seat and east of Hongyi mountain. It is composed of three natural villages: Dahan, zhengjiazhai and wengzigou.

Dahan village is located in the north of donghuangshui Town, Yangqu County, in the gully region of the Loess Plateau. It is 10 kilometers away from the county seat and is close to Hongyi mountain in the East. It has two natural villages, Dahan village and zhengjiazhai village. There are 389 households and 942 people in the village, with 5820 mu of arable land, including 1420 mu of woodland.

There are 378 households with a total population of 923, 276 labor forces and 6240 mu of cultivated land, including 6140 mu of cultivated land. There are 35 party members.

In 2011, the per capita net income was 3867 yuan. The industry of the village is mainly agriculture, mainly corn, millet and soybean, supplemented by buckwheat and other minor cereals, and animal husbandry includes pigs, sheep and chickens. In addition to farming, villagers mainly rely on working outside for a living.

The village has convenient transportation (except wengzigou) and convenient communication. The villagers are hardworking and kind-hearted, and the public security has been in good condition over the years. The advantage of the village lies in its wide land area, but the disadvantage is the lack of water resources. The village is about 4km away from Hongyi mountain scenic spot. There is a gravel road leading to Hongyi mountain in the northeast of the village. The traffic location is good. The village is mainly agricultural, planting corn, millet, soybean, buckwheat and other pure green food crops. In recent years, relying on local characteristic agricultural products, the village has vigorously developed the "vegetable basket + targeted poverty alleviation" project, held agricultural product fairs in the provincial capital Taiyuan for many times, and directly delivered high-quality and low-cost agricultural products to consumers, which not only enriched the dining tables of citizens and tourists, met the needs of urban residents for agricultural products, but also greatly enhanced the power of villagers to develop the industry.
