The twin pagodas of dengjue temple, also known as the twin pagodas of Baoguo temple, are located in Baoguo street, the northeast corner of Weishan County. In 1988, they were identified as the first batch of state-level key cultural relics protection units in Dali Prefecture. The double pagodas of the temple are nine level solid brick pagodas with dense eaves. The height of the pagoda is about 10 meters. The East pagoda has only two levels, about 5 meters high. The twin towers of the temple were built in the Ming Dynasty (about 1465). According to records, the twin towers were built by Zuo Shi, the prefect of the local government. They are the buildings that decorate the temple.
