Huangwei Lingqiu is located in Magedang Township, 25 kilometers southeast of Lingchuan County. The main peak is more than 1400 meters above sea level. It is towering and beautiful with dense vegetation. Once you enter the scenic area, you will feel very cool. Huangwei mountain was called Cuimei mountain in ancient times. It's said that it was a kind of divine bird in ancient times. It once lived in the mountain, so it got this name.
The main peak of Huangwei mountain is called zushiding. On the hillside of zushiding, there is a large-scale ancient building group called Huangwei palace. The seat of Huangwei palace faces east and West. It is said that around the Shang and Zhou dynasties, a Taoist of Huangmei ancestors practiced here, and Huangwei palace was founded. The buildings of Huangwei lower Palace are composed of luzu Hall of Taoism, Huangmei cave, Lingguan Hall of Buddhism and Kuixing Pavilion of Confucianism. According to the inscriptions, there are records of renovations in song, yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. Unfortunately, when the Japanese army and the 27th Kuomintang army fought in Lingchuan in 1943, Huangwei Palace used to be the rear hospital and warehouse of the 27th Kuomintang army. Later, it was found by the Japanese devils and burned.
Lingguan hall is the place of punishing the evil and promoting the good in Buddhism. Up to now, there are still exquisite column foundations here, which are engraved with the following words: the dark room is sorry, the God's eyes are like electricity, the world's whispers, and the heaven's hearing is like thunder. There is a moving story about the origin of the two stone pillars in Lingguan hall in Loudi.
limestone cave
Lingqiu cave is a famous karst cave in Huangwei scenic area, with an area of more than 5000 square meters. It is formed by the dissolution of Karst Rock by groundwater. Stalagmites and stalactites can be seen everywhere, which is one of the earliest natural caves in northern China.
The whole cave is composed of three parts: Buddhist hall, front hall and back hall. There are two stalactites on the left side of the cave entrance. There are two Buddha statues engraved on them. One is Puxian Bodhisattva and the other is Sakyamuni. According to research, they were carved by the ancients in the Sui and Tang Dynasties, so these two Buddha statues are very precious. There are also three stone Buddha statues in the Buddhist hall, which were carved in the Ming Dynasty. Together, they are called the five ancestors Buddha statues. Generally, visitors to Lingqiu cave should first worship the five ancestors Buddha statues. After worshiping the Buddha statue of the five ancestors, you enter the front hall of Lingqiu cave. The newly built guide route of the cave makes you feel like entering a strange world. There are stalagmites, stalactites, stone pillars, stone flowers, stone terraces, stone pagodas, stone umbrellas and stone turtles. On the top of the head of Dadu Luohan is a string of beads, which is called Buddha's palm. The drops of water along the fingers of Buddha's palm can be seen clearly. It is said that this Buddha's palm records the dry, wet, cold and temperature changes of the climate from ancient times to the present, which provides very important information for today's study of astronomy and climate.
Dongtian Buddha land is a special cave in Lingqiu cave. The cave is 4-6 meters high, and the slope of the cave bottom is about 36 degrees. Deep clay and karst deposits form many special landscapes. The stone umbrella is 4.4 meters thick and 2.9 meters high. It has the reputation of the first umbrella in the karst area of China. It is magnificent and strong. In front of the big stone umbrella is the lectern. It is said that Huang Mei's ancestors had gathered here to preach.
In the back hall of Lingqiu cave, there is a group of natural group sculpture landscapes, which are respectively composed of columnar karst rocks, such as double stone pagodas, ladder to the sky, top pillars, etc. There is an open area in the back hall of Lingqiu cave. Lingqiu Shenjing is located in the center of the scenic spot. It is said that the water level in the Shenjing will always be the same regardless of drought or flood. In ancient times, whenever there was a drought in the year well, they often came here to pray for rain. Lingqiu cave has a long history of development. It is a model of the combination of Chinese religious culture and natural cave scenery. Since Huangmei ancestors of Shang and Zhou dynasties lived in seclusion here, monks, Taoists and literati have visited Lingqiu cave for a long time. Qin maoxiao, a poet in Lingchuan of the Qing Dynasty, wrote after touring Huangwei Cave: the blockade of the ancient cave, the accumulation of fresh moss, how can the giant spirit be chiseled, and the vulgar guests have never come. Winding Panlong acupoint, gloomy Crouching Tiger platform, spring breeze Yao grass road, trees and peach blossom.
The combination of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism has laid a solid foundation for huangweishan's profound cultural heritage. Therefore, you will have a lot of fun and harvest when you come to huangweishan.
Architecture
Huangwei palace is built at the foot of Huangwei mountain and stands on the wall. According to the local old people, there were more than 60 houses in Huangwei palace. The original Sutra collection building in Shanggong palace has a unique structure in the whole building complex, which can best reflect the original design style of the palace. Unfortunately, it was destroyed during the war, leaving only a piece of ruins. Fortunately, the stone tablets of poetry and prose left by literati and poets provide us with enough imagination space to interpret history. Zushi Hall of Zhenwu is solemn and towering. Standing in front of the hall, I feel clear and clean, and I feel dirty. Not far from the ancestral hall is the Jade Emperor Temple. In front of the gate of the Jade Emperor Temple, there are two rolling dragon pillars on the left and right. The base of the stone pillar is more than 2 feet high, and the rolling dragon pillar is about 4 feet high. It is in the color of white marble. A dragon carved on the stone pillar looks like it is falling from the sky. In such a beautiful and refined place, I suddenly found it hard to accept the majesty of the Dragon advocated by the emperor. As the saying goes, is it the royal land within the four seas. In fact, in the hearts of the people of the world, there are several people who can really cut off the worldly thoughts, regardless of fame. When you enter the Yuhuang temple, the murals in the temple are vivid in color, delicate in brushwork, and the characters have different expressions. They are really living pictures showing the ideal life and belief of the ancients. The ancestral temples have a history of thousands of years. Huangmei ancestors of the Shang and Zhou dynasties lived in seclusion here, and the five ancestors' Virgin Mary also lived here. Since then, there has been an endless stream of monks and Taoists, making Huangwei a famous mountain temple. The prosperity of Huangwei reached its peak in the Qing Dynasty. During the reign of Emperor Qianlong and Daoguang, Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism were well integrated and developed, At the same time, the history and culture of zushiding also nourishes the mountains and waters of Huangwei.
