Xiba ancient town
Xiba Town, formerly known as "Xirong town", got its name because of the Rongjiang River in its territory. It has been an important hub of land and water transportation since ancient times. It is an important post station of the Southern Silk Road and is known as "Xiba water wharf". The town was established in the 14th year of emperor Huiwang of Qin Dynasty (311 BC). Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it has become a Buddhist, Taoist and Confucian resort. The ancient style still exists. There are tens of thousands of Ming and Qing buildings, which are in good condition. It has bred "three wonders of Xiba": Xiba tofu, Xiba ginger and Xiba rice wine.

Living conditions
In the early morning, before the mist dispersed, "tofu Xi Shi", who was carrying the burden, walked along the Qingshiban Road, with a few clear shouts, such as the Qingchang of Sichuan Opera. Xiba bean curd is famous for its soft and tender texture, and its slags melt in the mouth. There are 336 kinds of bean curd, 36 of which are common. Sitting in a small tofu shop on the street, you can enjoy the white eight immortals table, bench, blue and white porcelain plate, and the old tofu. Fang De's teacher Fu told me that Xiba tofu had to come from the local "Liangshuijing" water. If you want to eat authentic Xiba tofu, you still need Xiba tofu. In the ancient town, you can't help but be attracted by the teahouses all over the street. Bamboo chairs and square tables occupy half of the street, and bamboo poles support tarpaulin to shade the sun. Most of the tea guests are farmers and residents of the ancient town. After the trade, they play "two seven ten" and talk about the world. Occasionally, they meet the old people who sing and play "Liu Lian Liu" and "Niu Er Deng" in Sichuan opera troupes. Tea owners are residents of the ancient town. They have no jobs or are laid off after retirement. One day, they open their own doors and open teahouses. It is worth mentioning that no matter whose teahouse is, the water is definitely from the famous "Liangshuijing".
Most of the residents in the ancient town are old people, including two centenarians and 23 over 90 years old. Most of them are old boatmen, retired industrial workers, as well as farmers who face the Loess and face the sky They don't want to move away from the old houses where they have lived for generations. Even the big flower beds, tables, stools, antique porcelain altars, wooden foot pots, wooden cups and ladles, baskets and so on are mostly the furnishings of the past. There is also a regular meeting place for the old people - the old barber shop. Two "old knives" in their 70s are holding up the front. In the past, it was the old people who came here to have their hair cut and shave. Recently, many foreigners have come here just to feel the old skills - a knife, a scissors and a bunch of old stories.
Local specialties
Food is the first priority of the people, and one side of the soil and water nourishes another side of the people. " Xiba town of Wutongqiao in Leshan is a magical land. It is famous for its "no pollution, pure folk customs, ancient style and abundant products". Therefore, it was said that "Xiba farm can not be moved empty" in ancient times. It is the natural green environment that gives birth to the "three wonders of Xiba": Xiba tofu, Xiba ginger and Xiba rice wine.
Xiba tofu
It has a long history. It can be traced back to the Wanli (1573-1620 A.D.) of the Ming Dynasty. It has a history of more than 400 years. Xiba people have been passing on from generation to generation, constantly improving the technology. In the process of material selection, soaking, grinding, squeezing, cooking and pressing, special attention is paid to. The essence of the skin is "fade away, see the essence of the skin, rotate and grind the upper fluid". The tofu is made of white tofu as white as jade and thin as fat. Through cooking, frying, stir frying, steaming, mixing and cooking, more than 360 dishes can be cooked and gathered into the fried bean curd feast. Some literati have tasted Xiba tofu and praised: "Sichuan tofu is the best in the world, Xiba tofu is the best in Sichuan."
Xiba ginger
It has a long history of cultivation. According to historical records, Xiba ginger was listed as a royal tribute in the orthodox years of the Ming Dynasty. It has the characteristics of thick meat, strong taste, crisp and no tendons. Because of its special geography, water and soil, it looks like a beautiful woman's delicate jade hand, also known as "fairy ginger of Xiba". Its products are popular with residents along the Minjiang River.
Xiba rice wine
It began in the Eastern Han Dynasty and was confirmed by the wine making utensils and music figurines unearthed from the cliff tombs of the Eastern Han Dynasty in Xiba. Its brewing method has been popular among the people. In the Song Dynasty, Chen Laozu, who once talked with Zhao Kuangyin on Huashan, lived in seclusion in Yuantong Temple of Xiba. He collected folk formulas to improve and upgrade the technology, and produced Taoist rice wine, which greatly increased the quality of Xiba wine workshop. The products are sold to all parts along the river, as evidenced by several kilometers of ancient pottery kiln sites.

Xiba Alsophila Valley
There are about 80000 Alsophila spinulosa trees, which is the largest group of Alsophila spinulosa trees in China. It is a rare plant in the Mesozoic Triassic and Jurassic era. It has a history of more than 65 million years. It is a national first-class endangered tree species, and has become a living fossil of plants in the same era as dinosaurs. The valley is about 12 kilometers long, with steep mountains and various forms. The original ecological environment represented by Thoreau tree is complemented by mountains, water, trees and caves. Thoreau tree, ancient relics, forests, waterfalls, strange rocks, streams and caves echo each other and are unique.

"Xiba tofu" is the best in the world, "Alsophila Valley" unveils the mystery, and "Liu Bocheng Diaoyutai" on the Bank of Moxi River reappears the heroic posture of a great man and responds to all demands.
