Yongan bridge, commonly known as Dashiqiao, is located in Yong'an village, mashanjia street, Yuhong District, Shenyang City. Built in 1641, the bridge is a relatively complete stone arch bridge in Shenyang.
Yongan bridge was an important bridge in the early Qing Dynasty, which was the only way for the emperors of the Qing Dynasty to visit the East.
Yongan bridge is a three hole stone arch bridge, with a total length of 37 meters, an outer width of 14.5 meters, a pavement width of 8.9 meters and a bridgehead width of 12 meters. There are 19 stone railings on both sides of the bridge. The stone pillars at the end of the bridge are carved lions, and the others are lotus shaped capitals. On both sides of the bridge, there are a pair of large stone lions with exquisite carvings. The balustrade of the bridge is decorated with persimmon pattern and cirrus pattern, and the Baogu stone outside the end pillar is engraved with deer, tiger, unicorn, rhinoceros, sheep, butterfly and other patterns. On the north side of the bridge, there are two dragon heads, and on the south side of the bridge, a pair of dragon tails are exposed. From a distance, it looks like a two dragon bridge with vivid shape and unique ingenuity.
Yongan bridge has experienced more than 300 years of ups and downs, and the bridge deck is seriously damaged. In 1979, Shenyang Cultural Relics Management Office spent three months to repair it.
Emperor Kangxi, Emperor Qianlong and other four emperors visited the Yongan bridge 16 times
After the Qing Dynasty entered the Central Plains in the first year of Shunzhi (1644), ten emperors, including four emperors, visited the East ten times, walked on the royal road of Shengjing 16 times, passed through Yongan bridge, and went back and forth between the capital and Shengjing. They are: Emperor Kangxi three times, Emperor Qianlong four times, Emperor Jiaqing two times, Emperor Daoguang one time.
In 1682, Emperor Kangxi visited the East for the second time and stayed in the west of Yong'an bridge. I still remember that he passed by ten years ago. Looking at the dust after the rain and the willow green in spring, he knew that Shengjing would be around the corner
Dust on the road, rain on the road,
Ten years ago, I was here.
The spring breeze city is far away,
A few cold changes willow.
Emperor Qianlong wrote four poems about Yongan stone bridge during his tour to the East: crossing Yongan bridge in the snow, chanting again before the title, Yongan bridge and Yongan bridge.
Among the "Sixteen scenes of Liudu" in the reign of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty, there is a scene of "Yong'an autumn water". It is said that in the golden autumn season with a blue sky, travelers from Shengjing and the capital (Beijing) stop on the magnificent Yong'an bridge, look forward to the future, look down at the clear Pu river flowing under the bridge, look at the scenery of the four fields, see the scenery, and feel the infinite beauty of poetry, so they chant the book. In the later "eight scenes of Shengjing" or "eight scenes of Fengtian", there was another scene of "yulushen bridge". It's just the same name of "Yong'an autumn water". However, it does highlight or highlight the grand imperial road that the emperor visited from Beijing to Shengjing, the "divine bridge" built by the former Emperor Taiji on the imperial Road, and its extraordinary status and role as a bridge.
In 1963, the bridge was listed as a provincial cultural relic protection unit.
In 2019, with the approval of the State Council, the Ministry of culture and tourism and the State Administration of cultural relics announced the list of the eighth batch of national key cultural relics protection units, among which yonganqiao, Yuhong District, became a national cultural relics protection unit.
