Yangjiaxiang Mosque

Yangjiaxiang mosque was built in the Hongzhi period of Ming Dynasty (1488-1505 AD), and a new mosque was built in 1990. The worship hall is 422 square meters, and other buildings are 653 square meters.

Historical evolution

According to the records of Zhangqiu county annals, the original mosque in yangjiaxiang was built in the Hongzhi period of Ming Dynasty (1488-1505 A.D.), which was destroyed in the great flood in the 26th year of Kangxi (1687 A.D.), and it became the architectural style of Qing Dynasty after reconstruction. It was lost for a long time in the following year and became a broken wall. The inscription in the 20th year of Daoguang (1847) in the temple recorded the history of the temple. The temple village has the largest meteorite in Zhangqiu, Daxing meteorite.

There are rockery pavilions and pools on the west side of the entrance corridor. There are flowers and trees on both sides. The mosque is located in the northwest of the courtyard. The gate of the mosque is solemn and grand to the East. On the left side of the gate, the tower style moon tower is more than 30 meters high. The worship hall is in the middle, the north and South lecture halls are symmetrical, and the corridor is connected with the hall. The worship hall is a large dome shaped structure with green dome and white porcelain tile walls. Other buildings are 653 square meters.
