China Sea altar
The China Sea altar, which is known as the temple of heaven and the temple of earth, has been built in Liugong Island Expo Park in Weihai. In front of the sea altar are 56 carved dragons, symbolizing the connection of 56 nationalities; in the middle is a 16.8-meter-high sea god needle, and above is a huge night pearl with a diameter of 1.6 meters. The construction of the China Sea altar on Liugong Island, the birthplace of the Sino Japanese War of 1894, has a special historical significance.
Haitan information
Introduction to Haitan
Every time I worship the temple of heaven and the altar of earth, I always Meditate: does the great motherland have the sea altar? Where is the sea altar? On the heroic island of Liugong Island, I finally found the sea altar - "China Sea altar", which has been cherished for many years. Standing majestically in the Liugongdao Expo Park, right in front of him are fifty-six soaring dragons, just like fifty-six brothers and sisters of the great homeland of China. They are brothers and sisters, and they are connected in one vein to defend the peace of the motherland. In the middle of the sea altar is a 16.8-meter-high God of the sea needle, above which is inlaid a huge night pearl with a diameter of 1.6 meters. Compared with the temple of heaven and the temple of earth, the sea altar is more like a folk organization, with little royal style and luxury. However, the sea altar has a longer history. Its "altar age" has been 1800 years, more than 1000 years earlier than the temple of heaven and the temple of earth.
