Zhang Shuai Fu museum is the most well preserved former residence of celebrities in Northeast China. It is the official residence and private residence of Zhang zuolin, the last head of state of the Beiyang government, and his eldest son, general Zhang Xueliang, the great patriot. Zhang Shuai mansion, also known as "Da Shuai mansion" or "Shao Shuai mansion", is the official residence and private residence of Zhang zuolin, a northern warlord, and general Zhang Xueliang, a patriotic general. Since its opening to the outside world in 1988, the Shuaifu Museum has been expanding in scale and has developed into a comprehensive museum integrating Zhang's father son research and financial research. At present, the exhibition area is 8000 square meters and the exhibition line is 2000 meters long. More than 7000 pieces of cultural relics are on display. The basic exhibitions are "one hundred years of Zhang Xueliang", "Zhang zuolin and Zhang's family", which fully show the different life experiences of Zhang's father and son. In the past ten years, the Museum of Zhang's mansion has made great achievements in its work, held more than 100 exhibitions of various types, published many academic monographs represented by Zhang's mansion, and has developed into a comprehensive museum integrating modern history of Northeast China and celebrity commemoration. Zhang's mansion is a huge complex composed of four parts: the east courtyard, the middle courtyard, the West courtyard and the buildings outside the courtyard. There are not only the traditional Chinese style courtyard and the garden of the mansion with waterside pavilions, but also the European style big brothel, the border bank and the Red Mansion group, as well as the Chinese and Western style small brothel and Miss Zhao's fourth building. In 1991, Zhang's mansion was listed as an excellent modern architectural complex in China.

The museum also introduced audio and video about General Zhang Xueliang's life footprints for you to watch. The museum has made great achievements in scientific research and academic research, and has published many monographs, such as "Zhang Shuai Fu", "Zhang Xueliang's former residence", "Zhang Xueliang's general album".

Since 1988, the museum has held various kinds of birthday celebrations for general Zhang Xueliang every year. At the end of May and the beginning of June 2000, the museum participated in a series of celebrations for general Zhang Xueliang's centenary in Shenyang, Beijing and Hawaii of the United States, which have made great social influence at home and abroad and expanded the museum's popularity.
