Nanjing Artillery Academy
Nanjing Artillery College is an Academy of the Chinese people's Liberation Army to train junior commanding officers.
Its predecessor was the special school of East China Military Region founded in Yishui County, Shandong Province in 1947. Later, he moved to Tangshan, Nanjing and became the third artillery school in December 1950. In 1956, it was renamed Nanjing artillery school. On November 7, 1977, it was changed into the first ground artillery school. In June 1986, it was changed to its current name and was under the organizational structure of the arms Department of the general staff. The college mainly trains professional grass-roots cadres with bachelor's degree for artillery. The teaching facilities are relatively advanced, and there are various specialized rooms, laboratories, firing preview fields, training fields and weapons halls displaying all kinds of cannons. Since its opening to the outside world in 1957, the college has received military missions from more than 40 countries.
