Hongshan Mosque
Hongshan mosque is located on the hillside of Hongshan village, Liushun Township, Lintan county. The terrain is extremely dangerous. It is said that during the Hongwu Period of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1398), there were people with the surname ye in the border army of muying town. When they first came, they settled down in Dingjiazhuang, a new town. Later, they found this lush place and settled down here. After hundreds of years of development, there are only red soil mountains in Hongshan village now, but the dense forest has disappeared. The name of the village and the name of the temple came from this.
Historical evolution
background
It is said that during the Hongwu Period of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1398), there were people with the surname ye in the border army of muying town. When they first came, they settled down in Dingjiazhuang, a new town. Later, they found this lush place and settled down here.
Initial construction
Hongshan mosque was founded after Dingjiazhuang mosque in Xincheng city. Due to the lack of people and money at that time, the scale of construction was not large.
Renovation and reconstruction
In 1929 (18 years of the Republic of China), due to the "18 years incident" in the history of Lintan, the whole temple was doomed and turned into ashes. In the 25th year of the Republic of China (1936), the masses began to build mosques again. The scale of this construction is smaller than that before 1929, because after the disaster, the religious people's economic conditions are limited, and it is difficult to complete a large-scale mosque. In 1958, Hongshan mosque suffered the same fate as other monasteries and was demolished.
After 1986, due to the popularity of the party's ethnic and religious policies, Hongshan mosque was rebuilt under the planning of Ye Sansan and others.
Scale system
The construction in 1986 was also an influential one in the history of Hongshan temple, with three main halls, two eaves and a rolling shed in front of the water. In 1988, six brick and wood structure water tile houses with two eaves were added as school houses. In addition, there are 5 bungalows in the temple, and the whole mosque covers an area of 0.5 mu.
Temple Imam
Min san'erti, the current school imam, was born in fanjiazui, Lintan county. He taught Manla and belonged to ihewani.
