The ancient charm of Qiaoxi

Qiaoxi ancient rhyme is a scenic spot just opened in Meizhou last year. It is located at the West foot of wuzhifeng of Yinna Mountain in Guangdong nature reserve and Guangdong scenic spot. It is adjacent to Yannanfei tea field, a national 5A scenic spot. It was listed as a key cultural relic protection unit in Guangdong Province in 2002 and the third batch of "ancient villages in Guangdong Province" in 2011.

Qiaoxi guyunkai village was founded in the Wanli period of Ming Dynasty (1573-1619). It is a Hakka folk custom village, a famous overseas Chinese village and an old revolutionary base area. The village is surrounded by mountains on all sides, with picturesque peaks and beautiful peaks. The trees are green, the mountain flowers are brilliant, the mountain springs are clear, the beautiful scenery is natural, and the landscape ecology is beautiful. After hundreds of years of hard work, we have built a natural village with rich Hakka customs. There are 16 single buildings (sites) under protection in the village. Among them, 13 traditional Hakka residential buildings are built on the mountain or near the river. They are full of ancient flavor, fully reflecting the harmonious unity of human and nature, showing Hakka migration, Hakka folk custom, overseas Chinese history and revolutionary history, and have a high historical value The protection value of history, culture, art and science and the tourism development value.

Qiaoxi ancient charm scenic spot is located in Qiaoxi village, 4 kilometers east of changjiao village, Yanyang Town, Meixian District, Meizhou City, Guangdong Province. It is 38 kilometers away from Meicheng City, and it is called kotou river. The village is surrounded by mountains on all sides, with an area of about 1 square kilometers. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty (about 400 years ago), two families of Chen and Zhu built camp here, married and multiplied from generation to generation. The Hakka residential buildings in the village are located by the mountains and rivers. The small bridges, streams, ancient trees and dwellings in the whole village constitute a beautiful pastoral scenery of Hakka mountain village. Feiqiaoxi ancient charm scenic spot in Yannan is a key development project of Meizhou Cultural Tourism Zone in Guangdong Province. It is invested and constructed by Guangdong Baolihua Group Co., Ltd. the scenic spot has 49 tourism resources. Among them, 16 Hakka traditional residential buildings built in Ming and Qing Dynasties are well preserved. Bridges, streams, ancient trees and dwellings constitute a beautiful picture of Hakka pastoral scenery. It was appraised in January 2012 It is an ancient village in Guangdong Province.

Qiaoxi ancient rhyme is located at the West foot of wuzhifeng of Yinna Mountain to the east of Yannan feicha field, changjiao village, Yanyang Town, Meixian District, Meizhou City, Guangdong Province. The 16 traditional Hakka houses built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties are well preserved, simple but magnificent. When you enter the scenic area, you will find a lake full of secluded green water against dense vegetation. Listening to the sound of the stream, along the road, I saw the village surrounded by mountains looming. The first thing to enter the village is a cluster of trees by the river, which is called "colorful forest" by the local people. Standing at the edge of the forest, the residential community built along with the mountain is becoming more and more grand and simple in this silent mountain village.

The most distinctive Hakka residential buildings in the village include Zhu's Jishan building and anti Weilong Jishan hall. Jishan building was built in 1902 by Wu Kunzhong, including qiyuangong, the second son of weiqiangong, the 17th ancestor of Zhu's overseas Chinese living in Indonesia. It was completed in 1914. Jishan building is built by mountains and rivers, and covers an area of 2680 square meters It has 70 rooms; Jishan building adopts the horizontal square layout of central axis symmetry; it is a two-story rammed bar house building, commonly known as "qibar building"; its architectural scale, architectural art and cultural atmosphere are rare and famous in eastern Guangdong. Another residential building with distinctive characteristics is Shanqing building, which has a history of about 110 years and a building area of 500 square meters. It has 22 rooms, and is a counter dragon building with a circle in front of the hall. Its architectural structure is unique in the traditional Hakka dragon house, which is extremely rare in eastern Guangdong Hakka area. In addition to Jishan building, Shide building, Baoshan building, shianju and other buildings are also quite large-scale, and most of these ancient dwellings carry a story of overseas Chinese entrepreneurship. These Hakka residential buildings with similar style and different characteristics constitute the unique cultural landscape of Qiaoxi village.

After reading the cultural history of Qiaoxi's ancient rhyme, an ancient boat plank road appears at the end of Qiaoxi village, and extends deep into the back mountain.
