Dajing Beach

Dajing beach is located in the southeast of Changchun Town, Xiapu County, near the land end of Dongchong peninsula. It has a subtropical monsoon humid climate and is known as "Hawaii in Fujian" and "Beidaihe in East Fujian". The beach is 3000 meters long and more than 200 meters wide. It is also set off by historical sites, myths and legends such as ancient castles in the Ming Dynasty.

The attraction of Dajing beach lies in the sand dune which is called "Sha Long Gang" by the local people. The taste of walking barefoot on the beach is really wonderful, this feeling can not be translated, you can only take off your shoes, go for a walk, to appreciate, to taste. The outside of shalonggang is a gentle slope, with the top close to the shelter forest. The sea water can not be soaked, and the sand is snow-white and dry. After absorbing the heat of the sun, step on the warm but not hot, coupled with the gentle friction of soft sand, more comfortable than the foot massage. Slowly down the slope, the sand becomes moist and firm. Because of the cohesion of the sea, the sand is no longer scattered. If you step on it, the whole foot board will sink. It feels like walking on the snow. Further down, the sand will be more solid, not to mention people walk past without traces, even if the load-bearing car passed, but also left a faint rut.

On the other hand, on the other side of shalonggang, there is a windblown sand shelterbelt with the same color of Australian iron trees about 100 meters deep. Australian iron tree commonly known as Casuarina equisetifolia, trunk straight, never bent, needle. The leaves are dozens of centimeters long and one branch short, with obvious nodes. Since the 1950s, in order to prevent the invasion of wind and sand on cultivated land, people have built this Australian iron tree shelterbelt. It is said that this is the first large-area Australian iron tree artificial wind and sand shelterbelt in Fujian Province. The ground in the forest is full of spun yarn, soft as carpet, interspersed with drought resistant weeds, and the branches and leaves of Casuarina block out the sun, creating a thick shade, so it is called "lover's paradise".

In the northeast of Dajing beach, there is a cobblestone beach less than 100 meters long, which is full of cobblestones. People walk on it and "click". The pebbles are as big as a washbasin, and the small ones are finer than rice grains. Due to the erosion and friction of the waves, the pebbles have no edges and corners, and are all composed of beautiful arcs. As long as the shape is composed of arcs, no matter what you have seen or haven't seen, what you can imagine or can't imagine, there are all these. It looks like a piece of green pebbles. In fact, the colors are very rich. Except for those less white, black and red, I can't use words to express the color differences between them. As for the patterns on the pebbles, it's even more incredible. As you see more and more patterns on the pebbles, you will feel that the power of nature has been brought into full play here.

Route from Fuzhou to Dajing

During the interval of Fuzhou trip, I went to Xiapu alone and visited the famous Dajing beach. In the morning, take a bullet train from Fuzhou for one hour and five minutes (44 yuan) to Xiapu County. After leaving the station, take a bus (1 yuan) to Nanlu station (bus station), and then take Xiapu Dajing bus (20 yuan) to Dajing in an hour and a half.

Dajing Castle

Dajing, formerly known as Dajin, is located on the southeast coast of Xiapu, 40 kilometers away from the county seat. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides and the sea on the East. Li is the famous hometown of kelp in Fujian Province. Kelp culture is also the main source of income for the residents here. Along the way, you can have a panoramic view of the countryside full of Minnan characteristics, which is very strange and fresh.

After a fast journey (about three kilometers), you come to the east entrance of Dajing beach. The first thing you see is a large area of kelp boats moored in the bay. During the kelp harvest season, the hard-working fishermen have to drive the boat to collect kelp at two o'clock in the morning and finish their work before dawn. Thousands of ships competing, kelp full ship, that is what a spectacular picture.
