Zhugong Academy
Zhugong academy, located in the east of Huaxi theater in Bozhou City, was built in 1698. It is a memorial hall built by Bozhou to commemorate the virtue of Zhu Zhilian (see celebrity Zhu Zhilian) during the reign of Kangxi. It was rebuilt in 1760.
Zhugong academy, located in the north and facing the south, has many buildings, such as mountain gate, hall and back building. There are 3 mountain gates, which were rebuilt in 1984. They are hard mountain buildings with black butterfly tile roofs. The plaque on the front door is inlaid with the four characters "Zhugong academy", which is written by Bozhou modern calligrapher Zhang yinting. The handwriting is simple and vigorous. In August of the 46th year of Emperor Kangxi, Wu Chuqi, a native of Bozhou, wrote and wrote a stone tablet named "the records of Zhugong academy". There are 3 halls, round hill rolling shed building, five beam structure, gray tube tile roof, round carving with hanging lion and hanging fish on the column head, and large wood three-dimensional openwork on the eaves. There are drama text, flower and bird patterns. The carving is exquisite, which can be compared with the wood carving of huaxilou. The back building has 3 rooms. It is a two-story building of Jianshan style hard mountain, with brick and wood structure and gray silo tile roof. The ground floor is the place to worship Zhu Zhilian.
From Jiansheng temple to annual sacrifice, the incense of Zhugong academy has been burning for a long time, which shows that Zhu Zhilian has been living in the heart of Bozhou people.
