Nanrenshan ecological reserve, located in Nanren village, Manzhou Township, Pingtung County, is under the jurisdiction of Kenting National Park. In the northeast of Kenting National Park, the pole is a long and narrow coastal zone, bordering on the Pacific Ocean, jialeshui scenic spot in the south, Taiping mountain and its nearby ridges and gullies in the north, covering an area of 5587.05 hectares, with an altitude of 479 meters. Nanrenshan ecological reserve is a natural tropical zone Fenglin rainforest is the only low altitude virgin forest in Taiwan, and it is affected by the special monsoon and rainfall season, so it has a very rich ecological landscape.

Nanren mountain area is an unspoiled rainforest area, with hills, valleys, marshes, streams, hillsides, grasslands and other changeable terrain, and a rare phenomenon of "vegetation compression". Due to its remote location, inconvenient transportation and few human traces, it breeds more than 2000 kinds of plants and various kinds of wild animals, including more than 1200 kinds of higher plants, 129 kinds of butterflies and nearly 100 kinds of butterflies Birds and a variety of mammals, reptiles and so on.
Traffic information
Taiwan Railway: first take the Taiwan Railway to Pingtung railway station, then transfer to Pingtung passenger transport (to Manzhou), then get off at Manzhou Nanren village station, finally transfer to taxi to reach Nanren mountain ecological reserve.

Education trail
From the nanrenshan management station to the Bank of Nanren lake is the "environmental education trail" planned by the management unit. The single journey is about 4.3km, with a total of about 8.6km. It takes about three hours to walk around. Except for a few wooden benches for tourists to rest, there are no artificial safety facilities along the environmental education trail. Besides, there is no food intake outside the forbidden zone If there are any booths, people who want to visit should bring their own drinking water.
Nanren Lake
There are three lakes in Nanren Mountain Ecological Reserve, namely central water area, independent Nanren lake and Ilan Lake (or Nanren ancient lake), among which "Nanren Lake" is the most famous. Nanren lake is located in Nanren Mountain Ecological Reserve in the northeast corner of Kenting National Park. It is a natural freshwater lake. Originally, Nanren lake was just a few small marshes, but it often has rainwater collection and artificial embankment It is the largest still water ecosystem in Nanren water area.
The area of Nanren lake is vast, the water is quiet and welcome people, and the vegetation is green. The main aquatic plants are Cymbidium, water hairy flower, wild water chestnut, Anemone, etc.
