Yiyuan cave group is located in nanlushan Town, 7km northwest of Yiyuan County. It has been proved that there are more than 100 large and small caves in the area of 5 square kilometers around the Yiyuan ape man site, which are all developed in the Middle Ordovician thick micrite limestone. Because of their large number and concentrated distribution, they are collectively known as Yiyuan Tumen karst cave group. This is the largest karst cave group in northern China, known by experts as "the first karst cave group in Jiangbei". It is the first scenic spot in Yiyuan County of Zibo to be awarded the national AAAA level scenic spot, and it is a good place to travel.

Development history

Lushan karst cave group scenic area is located in Nanshan Town, 7km northwest of Yiyuan County. With Qianren cave as the center, there are more than 40 natural caves within 1.5km, which are called Yiyuan karst cave group. It is an Ordovician limestone cave, more than 500 million years ago. It is the most concentrated natural cave to the north of the Yangtze River, and is called "the largest cave group in the north" by experts. More than ten caves have been developed as tourist attractions, including Qianren cave, Yangshen cave, coral cave, Xuanyun cave and Jiutian cave. The scenery in the cave is wonderful and dangerous, with Lushan's Valley and green peak. It's very pleasant and unforgettable. Yiyuan County, located in Yimeng mountain area, is named after the birthplace of Yihe River. Yiyuan County, with beautiful mountains and rivers and pleasant climate, is the place with the highest average altitude in Shandong Province. Yiyuan looks at the Yellow Sea in the East, Taishan in the west, the hometown of Confucius and Mencius in the southwest, Weifang in the northeast, and Linzi in the north. Yiyuan cave group scenic spot is located 13 kilometers northwest of Yiyuan County, south of Lushan. In the territory of nearly five square kilometers, there are more than 40 caves of different sizes, known as "the first cave group in northern China". Many caves used to be places where ape people lived and multiplied in ancient times. Ape skull and several tooth fossils were excavated, accompanied by a large number of animal fossils, and a large number of ape man stone tools were found, so they are called "Yiyuan ape man" cave group. In recent years, many caves have been developed and opened to tourists. Among them, Jiutian cave is the most famous.

There are 23 wall carved Buddha statues and three groups of "stories of Buddha" bas reliefs in Yiyuan cave, with different and vivid expressions. "Shilong cave" is named after several natural stone dragons in the cave. The cave is 218 meters long and is a hall style cave. There are double turtle gates, Dragon King Palace, Galaxy meeting, Yunxia Island, dragon snake fighting and other landscapes in the cave. "Yangshen cave" is named after the legend that all kinds of immortals are led by the Jade Emperor to travel around the world to have a rest. It is a branch cave with a total length of more than 800 meters. There is a cave under the cave and a cave in the cave. There are 48 landscapes in the cave, such as stone forest waterfall, Lion Gate, Tang Monk's Sutra, Queen's mother's palace, Shui nationality palace, etc. "Xuanyun cave" is a channel type branch cave, with a total length of 300 meters, which is divided into two layers. The two layers of caves are connected by a vertical cave. There are many pieces of stalactites in the cave. You can play simple music by knocking it, which is called Shizheng. There are many stone zither and stone pillars, most of them are pagoda like, and a few of them are like Chang'e and maids in the palace. The stone flag, stone belt, stone mantle, stone waterfall and stone grape are colorful. "Jiutian cave" consists of nine halls, so it is called "Jiutian cave". The cave is more than 500 meters long, 10 meters wide and 8 meters high. The stone curtain, stone curtain, stone pillar, stalagmite, stone lotus, stone ice, curly stone and other landscapes in the cave are peculiar and crystal clear. In addition, there are "coral cave", "Ganoderma lucidum cave", "immortal cave" and other natural caves, which are beautiful. Three levels of Yiyuan cave

Yiyuan cave can be divided into three levels in altitude: (1) high altitude cave group, 600-700 meters above sea level, with individual caves of medium and small size, 60-500 meters in length, represented by Xuanyun cave and Jiutian cave; (2) middle Haiba level cave group, 500-600 meters above sea level, represented by Qianren cave, Shilong cave, Yangshen cave, coral cave and Shenxian cave, with individual caves of medium size (3) low altitude karst cave group, 400-500 meters above sea level, represented by xiaya cave, shangya cave and luzu cave, and large-scale single cave, 800-840 meters in length.

There are 37 kinds of chemical accumulation landscape types in Yiyuan cave group, such as stone pillar, stone crystal flower, stone hair, curly stone, goose tube, stone lotus, moon milk stone and other rare landscapes, which are of great scientific and ornamental value. Nine of them have been developed and opened to tourists, among which Jiutian cave is the most famous. It has been identified by experts as "China's largest Shihua Cave", "China cave boutique landscape Museum" and "the world's first Shihua Cave".

Main attractions

1. Jiutian cave

Jiutiandong, a national AAA tourist attraction, was developed in the Ordovician limestone strata of the Paleozoic era 440-500 million years ago, but its formation age is only about one million years old. Jiutian cave was developed and constructed in 1992, and then developed twice in 1995 and 1997. It is 518 meters long, 5-18 meters high, 1200 meters long, and its temperature is about 15 ℃ all year round. Because the cave has nine large cave halls, the landscape can be compared with the mythical heavenly palace, so it is called "Jiutian cave". Jiutian cave is a super quality cave in the chemical accumulation landscape type, and its high grade is the highest in China. There are more than 200 tourist landscapes in the cave, which are mainly composed of secondary chemical deposits and various forms. Among more than 40 common types of chemical deposits, Jiutiandong has 38 types and 7 rare types. Among them, a large area of stone flower is pure, exquisite, exquisite, noble and exquisite. Professor Chen Shicai of Institute of geology, Chinese Academy of Sciences called it "the largest Shihua Cave in China"; Professor Lu Yunting of Beijing Normal University, vice president of China Tourism Geosciences Research Association, commented: "the discovery of Jiutian cave in Yiyuan is an amazing event in the history of Karst Cave Research in China. 2. Thousand people cave

Thousand people cave thousand people cave is 13 meters high and 20 meters wide. The cave hall is S-shaped, 105 meters long, 26 meters wide and 15 meters high. It is named because the cave hall is wide and tall, and can accommodate more than a thousand people. In June 1965, dai'erjian, Institute of paleoanthropology and vertebrate paleontology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Bai Yunzhe, Shandong Provincial Museum, discovered a large area of more than 10 meters thick, multi-level cultural accumulation in this cave. 38 pieces of stone tools and a large number of wild animal skeleton fossils were collected. They are cultural relics of the late period of the old stone artifacts 10000 or 20000 years ago. At that time, it was the first Paleolithic cultural relic found in Shandong and even the whole East China. Therefore, Qianren cave was called "Shandong No.1 cave". From September 1938 to March 1939, the ordnance factory of the Shandong column of the Eighth Route Army was here to build guns and repair weapons. Therefore, Qianren cave still has a glorious revolutionary history. Qianren cave was built and opened in 1986. There are 23 Buddha statues carved on the high walls of the cave, and five of them are more than 10 meters tall. Among them, the largest statue of Sakyamuni is 15 meters tall. There are three groups of frescoes with an area of more than 120 square meters carved in relief, which are profound and grand, making Qianren cave "a collection of cave carving art".

3. Lingzhi cave

Flowers and stalactites form unique landscapes, such as "cave source Seclusion", "Yinshan pagoda", "flowers blooming", "red flag rolling", "three pools printing the moon", "spring snow", "liantai Guanyin" and so on.

Jiutian cave, with a total length of more than 800 meters, is full of stone pillars, stone mantles and stalagmites. The stalactites are crystal clear and white as jade. The uncanny workmanship of nature has carved Jiutian cave into various shapes and colors. People are living in it like a fairyland.

4. Coral cave

The coral cave is 350 meters long. In the cave, there are two dripping stones protruding from the cave wall, which look like flying jade dragons. Each of them is more than 2 meters long. They are called "double dragons playing with pearls". On a 9-meter-long and 3-meter-wide ground, coral trees and towers are piled up. They are exquisitely carved and colorful. They are called "coral island". There are stone flag, stone flower, stalactite, etc., which are translucent, so they are called "Crystal Palace". The cave is also lined with "apricot altar lecturing", "little Guilin", "Lingyan Jade Pagoda", "Eighteen Arhats", "Golden Rooster heralding the dawn" and other fascinating landscapes.

5. Yangshen cave

Yangshen cave is 9.5 meters high and has a journey of nearly 800 meters. Inside the cave, there are natural statues of "Venus goddess", "lion galloping", "camel wandering", "aquarium Palace" and "Tang monks and disciples learning from the west". They are both in shape and spirit, and are marvelous.

6. Xuanyun cave

Xuanyun cave is named for its frequent rising clouds. Inside the cave, there is a large stone curtain more than 10 meters high and 20 meters in circumference, such as a cascade of rivers, which is magnificent. There are many stalagmites and stone pillars in the cave, which are like pagodas. The wonderful and natural stone chime bell can play music and is a singing stone.

7. Shilong cave
